It'll be the Saints. . .
I don't see any team besting N'Orleans. Brees has the quickest delivery of any QB in history. SDiego was foolish to trade him above Rivers. Rivers is up there, no doubt but Brees is the total package.
The big easy gonna live up to its name. |
9 games for the bitch that is injuries to show her hideous face.

I think farve will win the nfc cause farve won't have to do much except make sure the coach stay away from little kids.

Top 5 Fullback OUT FOR SEASON Top DT OUT 4-6 weeks LB Corps banged up. Starting Center Currently being evaluated. Injuries are starting to mount for this team, but they've come out and still managed to beat everyone. They really can't afford any more injuries along the o-line or in the secondary though. |

Everybody wants the Saints in the super bowl, therefore it won't happen.

I wouldn't say that San Diego was foolish. Brees was coming off of shoulder surgery.....and Rivers was getting paid way to much to be a backup. They did what they had to do. The foolish thing was probably not getting anything for him. If you want to see a team that's foolish....look at the Dolphins. They chose Culpepper over Brees.

Trent Green was good to the Chiefs until the Roidboy did him in.

Vikings can probably give them a run for their money.

Reckon that Smith fella is a little short on brains. Hell, if he had kept Marty he would have won the division again and again and. . . Going further than that. . .well, that's been driven into the ground. |
It's not only his quick release, but Brees is also the most accurate quarterback in the NFL. Given his weapons and his offensive line (Chiefs please take note) it's going to be tough to beat him. Can you imagine a Super Bowl between the undefeated Saints and Colts? More than likely won't happen, but it's fun to dream.

Thread title is unspecific. "It'll be the Saints" to what? Go undefeated? Get to the Super Bowl? Win the Super Bowl?
I'm not liking them for any of those, actually. In terms of being undefeated, you can already see them starting to get stuck in the mud. Gave up 27 to the Giants, 34 to Miami (who choked that game away), and 27 to Atlanta. Granted, they have three creampuffs coming up to rest up against (Carolina, St. Louis, Tampa Bay), but then they have New England, the creampuff 'Skins (although it's a road game), the Cowboys, and then on the road to Atlanta. In terms of getting to the Super Bowl, they have to get through Minnesota. That team will be difficult to beat, especially since weather won't be a factor in the game if they meet up. In terms of winning the Super Bowl, if they manage to get by the Vikings, they'd most likely be facing, IMO, either the Colts, Patriots, or Steelers. (I don't see the Bengals, Ravens, Texans, or Broncos sustaining things.) That's three teams that know how to win in a Super Bowl, having all been there and won it this decade. |

I don't count out the Eagles, just McNabb and Reid.

I hope so. It's time someone new won the thing. Gives hope to all the other losers.
