I thought we had a good shot at both the Browns and the Bills, I thought Denver was going too strong. Now however it looks like their wheels might be coming off. Especially if Orton is out for awhile (can't believe I just typed that)

The only problem is that the Chiefs are so Jeckyl and Hyde you never know what your gonna get. The beginning of this game was horrendous.

Chances are we should we win at least 2 more games. Most people expected 5-6 wins prior to the season.

Yep, kinda sucks that the years we've had the top pick there hasn't been a Mario Williams, Calvin Johnson, Joe Thomas, etc. Nobody I really think is worth taking with a top 5 pick. Now I would rather get a lower pick in the 7-10 range so we can still get a good player without paying him top 5 money.

I'm pleased to see that I don't have posts in this thread predicting a lopsided Chiefs loss. Just dumb luck because I sure as hell thought they'd get smoked.

Regardless, fun win today. Unbelievable turn of events in the second half. Very proud of the defensive effort. The stat line looks pretty ugly, but the guys played with tremendous heart.

Prior to the pre-season games I believe I predicted 4-12. This was amended to 3-13 when things looked disastrous after the pre-season, prior to week 1.

I had my doubts after the way we lost to the Raiders.

Amazing how as bad as things have gone the team is still on track to finish where most people expected.

If we end with 5 or 6 wins, that's a major step in the right direction, especially given our shortage of legit talent on the roster.

Hope Pioli can follow up with some savvy off-season moves.
