|Zach| 01-02-2010 03:21 PM

Forced 8 turnovers.

SPATCH 01-02-2010 03:29 PM

all these turnovers... this is so atypical

|Zach| 01-02-2010 03:30 PM

|Zach| 01-02-2010 03:41 PM

38-22

3:41 in the 1st.

KcMizzou 01-02-2010 03:50 PM

What's gotten in to Bowers? Guy can't miss.

KcMizzou 01-02-2010 03:51 PM

And he finishes the half with a monster dunk.

17 in the first half. Already matches his career high... damn.

|Zach| 01-02-2010 03:51 PM

Halftime.

Missouri - 46 Georgia - 28

Great half. Tigers.

HUUUUGE JAM to end the half.

I think it's time for a uniform update.... we've been working with these things for a while now

KcMizzou 01-02-2010 04:09 PM

First two Georgia possessions in the 2nd half result in turnovers and easy Mizzou scores.

They're completely flustrated.

KcMizzou 01-02-2010 04:11 PM

Make that 3

As great as your photography is... you might consider aspiring to work at Sports Illustrated or something down the road. [I know that pic above isn't yours, just sayin']

I enjoy doing sports. Never done basketball though.

There isn't much money in it.

|Zach| 01-02-2010 04:33 PM

68-42

8:52 left in the game.

|Zach| 01-02-2010 04:58 PM

Missouri - 89

Georgia - 61

6 straight wins this year.

46 straight non-con wins @ home.

11-3 on the year.

Man I just love watching this team. Thank you Mike Anderson. We are an unselfish, maximum effort, extremely fun team to watch. I really appreciate the effort & hustle of MA's teams. Such a turnaround from the Quin Snyder days....

We're now 11-3, will be 12-3 for the beginning of Big 12 play. Go 8-8 in Big 12 play, win 1 or 2 games in the Big 12 Tourney, and we should be in...Bowers & Ramsey are improving. English, Denmon, & Dixon can flat out shoot & score. Tiller & Taylor are the senior leaders who can do a bit of everything, along w/ great defense. Miguel Paul might be the most improved player, he's lightning quick, can shoot it, & is much better defensively this year. It all starts against K-State a week from today..

I expect to a little better than that... sure we don't have great bigs, but our style of play will give us a chance to win game in and game out

some teams like putting up banners for conference tournament wins and elite eight appearances.

I'm sure I'll get bombed for this, but I'm not sure they can go 8-8 in conference.

seriously???

I watch a lot of college basketball. This team is legitimately 10 players deep and extremely discipline.

Sure they had some puzzling losses earlier in the season; they got off to a slow start last year as well. They are building some serious steam right now, though. They will be pesky as hell on the road and damn near unbeatable at home (once again).

I don't have 1/10th the knowledge of Bball that I do of football. I love to watch it, but am no expert by any means. But with no real inside presence, I don't see how they can compete with several B12 teams. I hope I'm wrong.

40 minutes of hell is the great equalizer. Believe me, Lyons and Carroll weren't a "real inside presence". Carroll had some skills with his back to the basket but he was by no means a true center (or a conventional post for that matter).

Ramsey, Safford, and Bowers are unconventional post players, but it works for this system. We will be hurt by the lack of a go-to scorer inside, however, their athleticism in full court defense/fast break offense makes up for it somewhat.

Mizzou had great defensive stats last year, won the big 12 tournament and went to the elite eight. I woudn't be surprised to see a run from them this year as well.

Its gonna be a fun year in the big 12 north.

Not being a strictly perimeter team they can't.

Not producing in the paint is going to spell trouble for MU once Big12 play starts. Theyre not going to win very many games shooting 18-20+ jumpers all game long. They still have troubles on the boards. This game wasn't so bad I think they ended up being even. But the other games they've played they have been horrible getting rebounds.

This is what everyone was saying about them last year...i am not confident that they will have as prolific a run as they did last year, but I am sure they will be better than the prognosticators have forecasted them to be.

I love being the underdog....that way at the end of the season, we can laugh at all the people who have written us off.

That's silly isn't it. It's almost as silly as going to the trophy store and buying a Big 12 North championship trophy even though you came in second place.
