LJ's trash talking last week

Ok I'm not going to name drop but I'm pretty good friends with a current Chiefs player and I asked him about LJ's mix up with Demorrio. He said LJ came over during warm ups while everyone was stretching and started talking shit, and that he and Gilberry got into it. Then OchoCinco walked over and started in on it too, and that eventually the whole team was basically dogging LJ out to his face and the coaching staff was laughing at LJ.

I thought CP would enjoy this bit of info since LJ claimed there'd be cleats in the the chests and mud in the facemasks after he was done. heh.

Silock 01-02-2010 08:24 PM

Ochocinco was dogging LJ? I would pay to hear that!

Sure-Oz 01-02-2010 08:24 PM

It said alot when the dipshit talked shit after a 6 yard gain...i hate that POS

No apparently Chad came over to stand up for LJ but no one really cared from what he told me. He said the whole team was barking at LJ. Literally, the whole team let him have it.

So hey man, go Chiefs.

Silock 01-02-2010 08:28 PM

Wow, I wonder what they said. Our coaching staff was laughing at LJ, too?

Hammock Parties 01-02-2010 08:29 PM

More and more, I've come to the belief that Larry Johnson is a very delusional person. And it started months ago, even when I liked him.

Yeah he told me the whole team was basically talking shit to LJ and that the coaching staff was laughing at him. so that's why LJ was in such a tizzy on that run. He was chomping at the bit to get some pay back and never did.

FAX 01-02-2010 08:30 PM

It's good to hear that our team can talk trash. Next step ... defensive stops!!!

wild1 01-02-2010 08:34 PM

LMAO

oh well. He's just some other team's 2nd (3rd?) string running back.

TheGuardian 01-02-2010 08:36 PM

Oh and I almost forgot, my guy told me that LJ was in fact saying something to the effect about how he was cakn. I shit you not.

wild1 01-02-2010 08:38 PM

That's hilarious.

I would love to have a transcript of who said what in that conversation.

The only thing better would be if Larry Johnson actually came to this message forum and got to hear it from the fans.

Johnny Vegas 01-02-2010 08:47 PM

then what makes the fans any better than him if they stoop to his level and meet his trash talk with their own childish come backs?

Pretty ironic that LJ averaged less than the YPC he averaged with the Chiefs AGAINST the Chiefs, isn't it?

The point is that he tried talking smack, then he couldn't back it up, and the whole Chiefs team told him that they universally regard him as a bitch.

It seems obvious that no one liked him and no one misses him, most are glad that he's gone.

The 2.7 YPC certainly isn't missed.

He's a paid professional. Fans dont get paid, they pay to go and express their feelings. I remember when i worked at a hardware store about 10 years ago and the bosses would always tell me, the customer is always right. You basically have to take what they are giving you and you cant say anything back or you get the boot. Same rules apply.

while it isn't missed you're being completely irrational thinking he was going to start over Benson and have the day he had against the Browns being a 2nd stringer. I mean if he started the game and averaged that yardage then you have an argument, but he didn't. Just be glad he didn't start against us. We would've looked like fools.

Highly doubt that.. He is spent has not heart, even with him laying it all on the line against the Chiefs he still would not of had a great game and our run defense sucks..

 either you have more faith in our run defense or you won't realize our run defense is a big problem. He would've had another 100 yard game against us. When haven't we given up 100 yards to a RB this season?

WTF is this? Any RB coming against us is putting up 100 yards. I'm not trying to say LJ is better now he's gone, I'm sayin our D would've crumbled against him.

Yeah, because he really showed a lot with that 11 yards on 4 carries...

Our run D might suck, but he sucks worse.

When you're not being dragged to karaoke and forced to sing 'Backstreet Boys' tunes, you have to endure Cassel's monotone voice as he says the same stupid, meaningless shit over and over and over and over.

mdstu 01-02-2010 11:00 PM

The most telling for me was watching the Detroit/Cincinnati game the week Benson came back from his injury, the week after LJ put 100 on the Browns. Benson carried the ball 36 times and LJ carried it twice, in a game well in hand. They don't really have much confidence in him.

KCbroncoHATER 01-02-2010 11:05 PM

Keep telling yourself that ...

mdstu 01-02-2010 11:44 PM

Keep telling myself what?
That with the exception of the Cleveland game where he split the start with Bernard Scott, due to the Benson injury he is averaging 3 carries per game.

You tell me why late in the season he is not relieving Benson?
Why did they sign him?

MVChiefFan 01-03-2010 12:08 AM

Whatever Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco... whatever) said or did before the game, I was pretty impressed with him during and after.

When Brandon Flowers was down on the field hurt, he was right there, genuinely concerned... and after.. the twitter message checking up on the guy. He made it pretty clear he respects Flowers.

Not to mention the obvious fact that said team's running game has clearly improved without him. Addition by subtraction.

Jamaal Charles is second to only Chris Johnson in total yards rushing since 11/15/09. He is 139 away from 1000 yard season. He's proving to be an every down back.

Yes, I know someone will say LJ was a short yardage back. What he fails to see is that it wasn't by choice.

chiefzilla1501 01-03-2010 05:03 AM

The best moment of the game was when LJ started jawing off and then Marvin Lewis pulled him, and I don't remember seeing him in the game after that.

LJ tried to make this game about him and Lewis would have none of it.

That being said, how the hell can anyone root for the Bengals? A team that continually gives second and fifth chances to douche bags like LJ because they're on the cheap? I like and respect Marvin Lewis, but hate Mike Brown for making the team what it is. Wouldn't be so bad if the media wouldn't keep treating the team like some sort of feel-good story.

You know what LJ did that was so bad, why so many of us can't stand his useless ass?

He sucked ass on the field of play.

Plain and simple.

You can suck his balls all day long, and it still doesn't change the fact that he was the least productive RB in the league as the starter, and Charles production is far greater, in every situation, than LJ.

I'm sorry that LJ's nutsack hanging from your lips obscures your vision and makes it impossible to see the truth.

What has LJ done since leaving KC to warrent shit talking??

What has Charles done since taking the starting spot??

455 yds and 3 TD's? Average of 113 yds/gm. Yea that's what I thought.

Also, when he was questioned about LJ, Charles took the high road and said positive things about him. He has more character in his little finger than LJ does in his entire piece of shit body.

PhillyChiefFan 01-03-2010 10:12 AM

Oh and as a point of comparison:

LJ's stats in the same time:

13 carries for 54 yds and no TD's

Charles is doing this all behind the same line that Johnson was, and is getting 100 yd games and TD's. Johnson got his money and got lazy and blamed everyone but the one that he should have been blaming.

Guess he's really cakin patna...
