But yeah, seriously, I think Tebow will be at least as horrible as JaMarcus Bustell. I think he could be a bust as a first-round pick who turns into...um...a completely average player.

Tebow has one thing that will make the difference: A drive to succeed. Everything I've heard about Russell says that he just does not put in the time necessary to be a good NFL QB.

The Tebow hate is so over the top its gotten stupid. He won't be Peyton Manning. And I understand people are turned off by his Faith. But let's get real. He's got talent and heart and he will find his niche somewhere in the NFL.

Before I can effectively vote in this poll I must know how far Tebow can throw a ball from his knees.

He puts bible verses on his eye-black. What kind of idiot does that kind of outrageous thing. If he wants to make a statement then he should get an ink sleeve or wear his pants down around his knees like everybody else.

Tebow will work harder, and also put the team over his own self interests. At first, I wasn't a big supporter of Tebow, but I've come around to realizing that with this kid, it's not an act. He's the real thing as far as his personality and leadership.

Uhh Yes. JaMarcus is a totally different style than Tebow. It's not even comparable.

There are a bunch of guys with great physical tools who were total flops (JaMarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf), just as there are guys with just slightly above average physical tools who were great (Joe Montana, Peyton Manning).

What they have between their ears is a lot more important than having a howitzer for an arm.

I would also think that with a decent QB coach some of Tebow's poor mechanics (bad footwork, slow release) could be improved. You know he would never pull a Grbac move of benching himself because of a sore little finger in a game that wound up eliminating the Chiefs from the playoffs. I'm still pissed at that mother****er for doing that. :cuss:

As bad as I think Tebow will be, its pretty much impossible to be worse than Jamarcus.

Are we talking NFL player or NFL QB? Different answers for different scenarios.
