The Buffalo Bills have commenced "Operation Cleaning House."

On Monday the Bills fired their entire coaching staff -- including interim head coach Perry Fewell, FOXSports.com has learned. Fewell, however, is expected to officially interview Monday for the Bills' permanent head-coaching position.

The team has already met with former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher and believes that his interest in the opening is genuine.

Buffalo is also making plans to interview several current assistant coaches to fill their head-coaching void. That list includes Eagles defensive coordinator Sean McDermott, Cardinals assistant head coach Russ Grimm and Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier. Other possibilities include Jets offensive coordinator Brian Scottenheimer and Chargers defensive coordinator Ron Rivera.

Fewell didnt' do a bad job.

Maybe they will hire Pendergast and Krumrie.

The team played well under Fewell. He should get a legitimate shot at an interview, but I'm sure he's just fulfilling the Rooney Rule.

The old Buffalo Bills uniforms from the 90's and the throwbacks is what they need to go back too. The ones they have now look like somebody gave a reerun some scissors and half a pack of crayons.

I like their throwbacks alot, esp the helmets.

Report: Bill Cowher unlikely to coach in 2010

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, CBS analyst Bill Cowher "appears unlikely" to coach in the NFL in 2010.
The Bills got Cowher to do a second interview, but he clearly doesn't want the job. Tampa Bay and Carolina are expected to keep their coaching staffs, while owners in Houston and Jacksonville already committed to retaining theirs. The Redskins are looking elsewhere. I'd love to see Fewel on this staff in some defensive capacity.

He went 3-4 after replacing Jauron after the team had been wrecked by injuries.

According to PFT it looks like Brian Billick is going to be the Bills head coach

This year has so many better head coach candidates. *sigh*

Yeah people think the Chiefs had a lot of guys on IR. The Bills had 21 players on IR this season.

That had to be like their fourth choice.

Billick is going to have to a take a razor and scrape Cowher's name off of his door.

I was looking at their staff and nobody really jumped off the page as someone who I'd like to see on this staff with the exception of Fewel.

But Buffalo was 3 players away last year...

i have a feeling the bills are gonna suck for a long time, that division is tough as nails w/pats,jets,phins. they chose the wrong time to start re-building
