Pick the winner in each group. Try not to vote for the dividing lines.

Heheheheheh.

Hootie 01-04-2010 07:13 PM

these are tough, tough, tough games...

I really liked the Cardinals and the Packers in the NFC...it's a shame they have to face off in round 1...

I like the 25:1 odds the Packers have of winning the Super Bowl...especially since they are going to get three dome games.

Cjanz 01-04-2010 07:15 PM

Pats
Jets
Cards (more so because I really want them to win)
Eagles

BigMeatballDave 01-04-2010 07:17 PM

I would've went with NE, but Welker is done.

Hootie 01-04-2010 07:18 PM

yeah I am having a tough time picking between the Cards/Packers but I could see the winner winning the NFC...

Although...I would honestly not be surprised by any of those teams winning the NFC this year...maybe the only one I doubt is the Saints and they are the #1 seed.

KCChiefsMan 01-04-2010 07:18 PM

Ravens
Jets
Packers
Eagles

That'll hurt to be sure, but they did get both Fred Taylor and Sammy Morris back recently so the running game is in good shape. Julian Edelman can make some plays at WR in Welker's role, and there's still Moss. If it were in Baltimore, I'd be pessimistic, but I think the Pats can beat them in Gillette even without Welker. (I'm hoping, since I'll be there.)

(If the Pats win, they get to go to San Diego. On paper, that one looks like a sure-fire ass-kicking by the Chargers. On the other hand, the Chargers continually choke in the big game, and there's always the Norv Factor, so that game would be 50/50 probably...)

JD10367 01-04-2010 07:33 PM

I also went with the Jets, Packers, and Cowboys. Packers are a better team than Arizona, and the other two are on a roll and their opponents (Cincy and Philly) are not.

How weird is it, that three of the four games are rematches a week later. Has that ever happened before?

I would say that we choked in 2004 against the Jets and in 2006 against the Pats, but in 2007 against the Pats, we were so depleted due to injury it wasn't funny, and did you really expect the Chargers to win in Pittsburgh last year?

You all realize the Jets are starting a rookie QB? They don't have the best of records in the playoffs.

Two things you need to do in January: run the ball, and play defense. And the Jets do that better than anyone else in the league. If Sanchez can keep from f**king them repeatedly, they have a very good shot, especially since the Bengals aren't exactly a well-oiled machine right now.

What are you talking about? His 63 yards passing led them to the playoffs!

and literally the only team I'd pick them to win against is the Bengals...

I think the Chiefs could beat the Bengals 5 times out of 10...

Hootie 01-04-2010 08:11 PM

The Bengals peaked far too early and peaked in a mediocre division...

I could see them beating the Jets...but they'll get crushed by San Diego.

DaFace 01-04-2010 08:15 PM

My hope is that New England and the Jets win in week 1. Then, my hope is that the Colts get knocked out of the playoffs by the Jets. That would make me happy.

RJ 01-04-2010 08:18 PM

Ravens
Bengals
Cards
Eagles

I'm surprised the Eagles laid such a huge turd last night. They were only slightly better than the abortion from last week. Reid should be fired.

-King- 01-10-2010 02:33 AM

That was such an abortion of a playoff night...

Consistent1 01-10-2010 04:33 AM

Jees. I love all those Philly votes on there. Who honestly didn't see another Dallas win coming? That game was a rolling. Even the stats make it look closer than it was. All of those teams that let themselves get shit-kicked last week will lose, and 2 of the 3 have already done it. You never know with Arizona, but I say GB wins by ten or so. The deal with all the repeat games sucks. One thing you must give SD, they put back up players in but still WON. They also sent Rivers, Gates, etc...out for just a bit to send the message "we would ****ing kill you today if we wanted to". Sure, they played a bad team, but you are still supposed to attempt to win. I am tired of all the resting guys, excuse mode crap with people laying out serious money to attend. Last week three teams let it go past the point of no return. I was actually rooting for the Colts in a way, but I hope they get drilled now after their stunt. Those guys get paid to play and win. Poor Wes Welker. Shit happens. My picks for today are GB and Baltimoren but that one is actually real tough to call. Easily could go either way right now.

Hootie 01-10-2010 04:35 AM

I'm 2 for 2...surprise surprise
