GOD I HATE DALLAS COWBOYS!!!!!!

Maybe even worse than the Donks.

Eagles are a team I don't mind most of the time. But they are sure stinking it up tonight.:cuss:

That's it. Now back to your regular program.

Deberg_1990 01-09-2010 10:30 PM

You realize they havent done anything of note in 15 years??

Mecca 01-09-2010 10:30 PM

I think it's weird to see such hatred to a team the Chiefs play once every 4 years and that hasn't won anything since I was in middle school.

And a good 15 years stretch it was.

Jerry Jones is a Bear Grylls enema tube, but this team is stacked and on a hell of a roll right now. They are fun to watch - Felix, Austin, Witten, the secondary, D-Ware.

Great win for America's Team.

Hopefully we can get the monkey off our backs just like they did tonight.

I never liked them from the beginning of my introduction to the American Football. Then I started hating them first when I heard they call themselves America's Team and absolutely detesting them when an office weasel whom I had considered a friend turned on me and started backstabbing me in my previous job. He was a die-hard Cowboys fan but had practically no knowledge of Football. During that time Dallas won their last two Super Bowls and made me hate them even more.

Mecca 01-09-2010 10:38 PM

The Cowboys have actually drafted extremely well, it's finally paying off for them.

The only Cowboy I really like is Ware. I wanted him for the Chiefs in his draft and my kid wanted Derrick Johnson. Effing Cowboys drafted Ware a few picks before us but my kid was happy when we got DJ.

Psyko Tek 01-09-2010 10:40 PM

I really hate cowboys fans
the team could care less
but jerry jones is a douche
someday he will make Al Davis look sane

I await that day

BryanBusby 01-09-2010 10:42 PM

Oh well, at least the Cowboys won't be making it rain on Free Agents without a new CBA.

In fairness here man, that teams key players were all drafted by them, I think that's forgotten sometimes.

Bill Lundberg 01-09-2010 10:43 PM

I think they are going to win it all. They are a prime example of a team that is getting hot at the right time. Marion Barber being hurt might be the best thing for them. That Defense is awesome right now.

It's actually amazing how many gems Jerruh has found in the rough. He looks like a ****ing genious for taking a pass on moving up for McFadden and taking Jones instead.

If I could assemble a team from the KC and Dallas rosters, I'd struggle to pick a handful of Chiefs as starters.

The Cowboys have more drafted cornerstone players than New England does, I bet most casual fan would never realize that.

The Felix Jones draft was actually a very very good draft for how late they picked, they got several very nice players.

What makes you think that the Cowboys are heading to Minnesota?

It'll be either the Packers or Cardinals.

The Packers weren't division winners and the Cards had a worse record than the Cowboys.

Dallas is going to New Orleans.

Did I miss something, or isn't Dallas the #3 seed? They will go to Minnesota regardless of tomorrows outcome.

I think the winner of this game was gonna play against Minny, according to a bracket I have recently seen. I'm pretty sure the game announcer said it tonight too.

I think there's a pretty good chance we're looking at the NFC championship game as Green Bay at Dallas.

I'm thinking we will see a repeat outcome tomorrow with one road and home team winning tomorrow (Green Bay and New England).

Personally, I think the NFC is wide open.

I not sure how well Dallas will play in the Metrodome and how well Romo will respond to that pass rush.

Mecca 01-09-2010 10:57 PM

After how Minnesota finished the year I'm not sure Minnesota can score on Dallas.

BryanBusby 01-09-2010 11:02 PM

It'll be interesting to see the outcome if Flozell Adams decides to pull a cheapshot on Jared Allen.

With a bye week to rest up, think the Vikings offense will be ready to go. The Defense on the otherhand will be a concern.

That is exactly the reason that I do hate them. They have been a completely futile franchise for a decade and a half, yet they are on national television about 14 times a year. They are the most overrated team in all of sports, and people are sick and tired of hearing about them and/or watching them when they have won about as many playoff games as the Chiefs in the last 15 years.

Mecca 01-09-2010 11:31 PM

It's because they have a huge fan base...it's about ratings.

Maybe when the Chiefs have 5 Super Bowl titles, they can be as popular as the Cowboys???

Honestly, who cares??? Why do alot of guys waste so much time and energy hating on popular teams??

Might not be a bad option? They got to find a way how to slow down that passrush. Im not so sure if Minnesotas OL is capable of handling the passrush of the Cowboys?

easymobee 01-10-2010 01:31 AM

I'm rooting for Dallas, I like any outcome that makes the "experts" look like reeruns. How much airtime and ink has been dedicated to the notion that Tony Romo is only good until December starts?

Besides there aren't a whole lot of teams other than Dallas I could stomach winning it.

SD ...no, but I'm glad they have done enough to keep Norv around during an offseason where so many potential great coaching hires are looking for new jobs.
INDY ...no, they deserve to fall to the same fate as Cinci, laying down and creating an extra exhibition game should come back to bite you in the ass.
CINCI ... got what they deserved. If not for the 37 to 0 game, I would've liked to root for them.
NE ... nope
NYJ ... yes. I miss the gnashing of the teeth here when the Jets were 3 and 0.
Balt ... neutral, ill have to root for them to beat a couple of the aforementioned teams.

MINN .... I've had enough Favre for one year. Nope
DALL ... yes
PHI .... something very offputting about them to me, glad they are gone.
NO .... too trendy, feels like a movie of the week. Brees winning it all may anger a few Dolt fans, but Rivers is good enough that they'll never regret it too much.
ARZ ... it was fun last year, but now its just more of the same. Rooted for them hard last year though.
GB .... wouldn't mind them too much.

GordonGekko 01-10-2010 01:42 AM

im in texas and i would hate to see the cowboys win the superbowl. would love to see new orleans win it all. drew brees is a class act imo. although with all the shit tono romo catches down here, it is fun to see him sort of stick it to jerry jones. but then again that denotes dallas winning, which i can't stomach.

Over-Head 01-10-2010 07:35 AM

In a book I read onceJohn Madden even says "it's ok to hate the Cowboys" :thumb:
Real reason he's laying so good is that since Romo dumped Blondie, he's been on a dry spell and his agent has promisd a hot blond a night for a year if he makes the Big game:D

Bwana 01-10-2010 07:51 AM

I don't care for them much either, but I can't stand McNabb and was happy about the win. Did anyone else catch the " dive/flop" McNabb took last night when the pass rusher gave him a little push? The clown dove backwords like he had been hit by a bus, jumped up and tried to pimp the ref for a flag. That flop would make Ed Mccaffrey blush. http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:B...5c80d3941c.jpg

All that being said, I hope the Sowboys get their ass handed to them in the next round.

Live in Philly. You'll begin to hate the Eagles more and more... and enjoy their demise!

Baby Lee 01-10-2010 10:11 AM

I submit that was not a playoff worthy game. I'd even submit that the Chiefs as presently composed could have held their own with either team that played last night. Don't know if that means that the Chiefs are closer than we think or those two teams are as bad as they looked last night. Romo threw a ton of shitty passes, but made hay on the WR in the flat play that is always a loss for us and the Eagles shat the bed on TOs.

Why do you hate the Cowboys? I used to, but not anymore. This Dallas team, and the franchise for that matter, has been humbled by their recent futility. Gone is the arrogance and what remains are guys playing hard who just so happen to be playing thier best football of the year, especially on defense. This team understands that they are not entitled to winning and that they have to EARN it. Thus, they have earned my respect and I hope they go all the way.

GO BOYS!

The arrogance will never be gone as long as Jones owns them. He is good at drafting and draft day deals, I admit. I have wished in the past that CP would be that bold with draft day trades. That said, he wants to kick smaller market teams out of revenue sharing and he shows off his money by things like building gaudy stadiums when they already had a very serviceable one. It's just the attitude of "WE ARE AMERICA'S TEAM" that rubs me the wrongest way.

DId you watch the game. Dallas' D was decent, and the TOs gave their O some nice short fields. But they stalled on shit passes many MANY times.

Do you think it was a playoff caliber game?

I saw a shit ton of foot shooting from both offenses that Dallas was able to overcome with points on the board.

Of course opinons vary. I was impressed with how much Dallas has gelled/grown over the season.IMHO Whiskey Wade has done a bang-up job since taking over the defense.
I saw a Keith Brookings inspired defense with bookend DEs and a solid young D-backfield, a sharp-passing Romo throwing to WR and TE that would start for any team in the league, a Pro-Bowl O line and a RB (Jones) who is better than most.
Oh, and a really really big tv screen and a megalomaniac mummy sitting in the owner's box. And some hot-ass monkeys in white short-shorts shaking what their mama gave 'em.
