A good rivalry does make it interesting. MU has been a pain in the butt at the Paige Arena, they haven't lost for sometime on Sr night. Even when we have had good teams, them blasted Tiggers will rise up for their own NC game just to win one against KU.

Time to end their streak at the Paige on Norm's court.

Makes me wonder how the antler section will perform, will they still spit on our players ?

I really hope Kansas beats the ****ing piss out of them. Give it to Aldrich and watch MU curl up in the fetal position.

Eh, I don't know that I'd describe them as "typical KU fans". I usually find that the most annoying KU fans really have no affiliation to the university other than they jumped on the bandwagon in the 90's and have never hopped off. They have very limited knowledge about KU's history. It's been especially bad with football the past few years.

However, I'd say the same can be said about any team's most annoying fans

Mizzou was fortunate to get Anderson.

Yes they were, like I said when they got him, give 5 years and they will be in the NC hunt.

But at the same time,I missed BIG on Martin, I have mentioned this many times, the guy is a great recruiter and does a good job of coaching.

Gosh, I just feel ugly after ready an MU article about today's game. Excuse me why I got take care of myself, BRB later.

I used to post in MU threads often. I quit posting because they get too butt-hurt when a KU fan makes a point contrary to their perception of their sports teams.

This is not going to be a KU runaway by any means. I'd like to see it, but KU has everything wrapped up and really has nothing to play for other than the rivalry. I'm not sure that's enough motivation to win in Columbia. MU on the other hand will be jacked up. Let's hope talent supersedes MU's emotion that they'll surely bring to the game.

I have a feeling they'll jump out early due to emotion, but we'll chip away methodically as is our way and be about even at half. We'll take a double digit lead midway through the second half, and Mizzou will make a push with their 40 minutes of reaching fouls defense to cut the lead down. What happens from there I can't say. I'd like to think we could pull it out, but if Mizzou's guards are hot from 3 or our guys continue to play tired in the second half. We could lose.

I'd like a win for NCAA seeding purposes.

I disagree, we want St Louis, Self will have the boys ready, knowing all to well the last few trips to Craplumbia has been disappointments.

Losing a conference game on the road is not going to keep us from being a #1 seed this late in the season. After the top 4 in the rankings there's no one else worthy of being a #1 no matter what happens from here on out. If we were to lose our first game in the Big XII tourney it might have an effect... MIGHT. I'm not saying we'll lose today, I'm just looking at how different scenarios play out. For sure I'd rather run the table until March Madness starts and we're hitting on all cylinders.

Better than none and no prayer of one every single year.
