I was curious if the average male wore an XL shirt. I'm guessing XL is the new L.

I wear an XL and let me tell you, XL ain't what it use to be I weigh 180lbs and that mofo is none to big.

I weigh 190 and I like to wear mediums. But I like my shirts kind of tight. I am like bird boned though.

It aint easy finding a shirt that fits all around. It's either too tight around my shoulders and chest or too loose around my stomach.

Dec. 25th of 09 I was wearing 4XL shirts...some were snug. Today I bought three shirts and all of them were XXL and they fit nicely.

BITD I would wear a Large or XL but I was mostly overcompensating for being a stick... now that I am more fit an athletic cut Medium is my favorite.

It seems that way I have lost a lot of size in my shoulders and chest and I have to wear XL.

XL's are big when I'm standing up but when I sit down they are too small...why?

It seems like I have to step up to XXL now to find a shirt that fits my shoulders. The smaller cuts that they call "XL" now are laughable.

I got broad shoulders and shirts never fit me right. Not even jackets. When I was a young fit kid in high school at 160 I wore XL and some dress shirts 2XL. Now that I'm older and fatter for the gooder I still wear 2XL but now the tall lengths to compensate for my dunlop.

I've always been an XL guy. When I weight 180 I wore an XL. I ballooned to 240 and still wore XLs and now I'm 210 and still wear XL's

Large, but I hate loose shirts really. If I'm wearing a t-shirt I'd prefer it too be too tight rather than too loose. Before I ballooned up to 190 and I was a svelte 165, I wore extra smediums all the time.

pretty much. My shoulders are too broad for L anymore. Sometimes I will even go to 2XL just for the extra room even though it looks like a damn burlap bag on me.

I like the slim fits. I'm a skinny guy, and I've NEVER liked all of the extra material hanging around just so the shirt will be long enough. I'm not real gangsta, I like my clothes to fit. That said, I wear a large. Which may have been a medium years ago. I dunno, still the same length, just not as wide.
