Coincidence or karma

A) 2008 -"It ****ING STUPID to win meaningless games, we need the higher draft picks!"
the 2009 draft class -meh

B) 2009 -"Piss on higher draft picks, just win some games."
the 2010 draft class -pretty, pretty, pretty good

C) A beget B doesn't rule out karma

BossChief 05-01-2010 10:47 PM

this is gonna be one of those posts that gets three replies and then you bump it in 2013 huh?

Sanka 05-01-2010 10:49 PM

As deep as this draft class was, Pissoli still ****ed it up.

If positive thinking didn't carry any weight
prayer threads would just be for the smug

I would still rather have Tate or Clausen over McCluster. Nothing is ever going to change that unless Dexter out produces both of them, and to be honest I just don't see that ever happening.

Sanka 05-01-2010 11:02 PM

So the logical thinking behind drafting Arenas and McCluster is we needed a slot reciever, a returner, a nickel corner, and a "gimmick" offensive player. Well Tate would/could of been 3/4 of those things, and we could of addressed a NB later in the draft. This draft was full of fail on behalf of our organization.

KCrockaholic 05-01-2010 11:04 PM

 I can't wait to see our rookies this year. That's all.

LaChapelle 05-01-2010 11:05 PM

KnowMo has the power of positivie thinking
and he got a virgin QB in his draft day stocking

Yep. Look at how terrible Javier Arenas was for the Chiefs in his 2nd year.

Wait, what? He hasn't played yet?

Yea great pick, we wasted a 2nd on a NB/KR/PR! Pioli really ruled in this draft!

Golden Tate blew out his knees his rookie year. Arenas was a great pick, and that pick 6 against the Raiders last year was awesome.

And you say this in a thread with the word karma in the title...AWESOME! This is why we Chief fans suffer

Don't act like you don't know where I'm going with this.

Who is "all"?

I see that you are bitter for some reason, but I don't see anybody else acting any certain way over a week after the draft. Was this the year we took Tyson Jackson?

It sure feels like it by the way your acting.

Okay, I am acting like an ass, still think we wasted 6 picks. Outside of Berry and Asamoah, Pioli f'ed up this draft. This should of been a "slam dunk" of a draft.

Alright. Fair enough. It's your opinion. But I'm curious if your drunk? We wasted 6 picks...But you say Berry and Asamoah are ok.... This math doesn't add up. Or are you counting Tyson Jackson from last year again. Which I can understand.

Damn I messed up counting. I thought we started the draft with 8 picks not 7. I apologize. Like I said, I like the Asamoah and Berry picks. I think we wasted picks on Arenas, McCluster, Lewis and Moeaki. As for Sheffield, Im undecided.

I was right we had 8 picks.

1 Berry
2 McCluster
2b Arenas
3 Asamoah
4 traded
>3b. Moeaki
5a traded
5b Lewis
5c Sheffield

Chill out a little and think for a minute. I wasn't crazy about our 2nd rd picks a week ago. I wanted Clausen. However, that said, you are talking about 2 ND players. Who was their HC last season? Yep. And we passed on Clausen twice. Sends up a red flag for me...

The same Golden Tate that couldn't get wide open against college talent. The same Golden Tate that has an average to slow break out of his patterns.

There are two sides to every player. I like Tate too, but lets not start sucking his dick just yet.
