The Corexit-Methane-Oilcane Watch

Looks as if the first hurricane of the season is forming... making Earths first OilCorexitCane... This is going to be an interesting 48-72 hours. Watching the radars...

Plus BP is leaving 5 days before the gale winds come in... http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-...25-709620.html

This leaves the well blowing full steam.

This may give a good lesson on how lighting + methane reacts.

If the well is open - it's not just oil - it's a full on methane release.

History Channel did a deal on this back not too long ago.

Lovely. I'm supposed to be in Key Largo in a month.

Slayer Diablo 06-26-2010 10:49 AM

Hmm...so if the whole Gulf Coast smells like oil, perhaps all vacations will relocate to California beaches and Disney Land.

Hmmm? Lets hope this thing takes a west path and abuses Mexico, rather than Texas.

Tropical Storm Alex is expected to strengthen into a hurricane as it tracks northwestward across the western Gulf of Mexico over the next few days. The storm is likely to reach at least Category 2 status by Wednesday due to favorably light winds in the upper atmosphere and a path over warm waters.
While there is still uncertainty regarding Alex's track, he will threaten parts of northeastern Mexico and Texas with flooding rain and strong winds before landfall late Wednesday or Wednesday night.

teedubya 06-28-2010 05:12 PM

Bil Ryan , of Project Camelot/Avalon discusses the latest on the Gulf of Mexico oil spill with Dr Bill Deagle.

Dr Deagle says there is a real danger we could see a tsunami triggered by an underwater volcano that BP drilled into. He also talks about how this event could result in a mini ice age in Europe due to disruption to the flow from the gulf stream. Also, Dr Deagle goes into the dangers of the gases being emitted from the sea floor.

This catastrophe is only just starting to unfold. The worst is still to come

10,000 in casino cash says nothing at all happens of any interest. Maybe a couple doves get oil splashed on them by the camera crew for a photo op.

Hopefully the hurricane will deliver freshly killed pelicans right to doorsteps for a FEAST!

teedubya 06-28-2010 09:51 PM

Another benefit of this whole toxic hurricane is that GoChiefs lives REALLY close to the coast.

I'll miss you man. You've really grown in this life... your last few years catapulted you in a better direction. You finally got to touch some boobies. That was a win. I wish you all in the best in all of your future lives. I hope you are a successful model in a future life as well!

I have to say, just when I think I can't be any more disturbed, something comes along like this video and proves me wrong.

At 9:15 the roof of the Superdome comes into view... it was white a week ago, it's a brand new roof from Katrina... well, now it has oil streaks all over it.

Pre-oiled for my frying convenience? Excellent.
The perfect thing to celebrate the first time the Earth has ever in history had a mess to clean up.
