Anyone want to do a CP Big Money ffb league?
 

Anyone who want to participate in a Fantasy Football league with a buy in of $50-$100. We can determine how much once we get enough people together, possibly by a vote. We can do yahoo, espn or whatever is the majority consensus. Something like leaguesafe wouldn't be a bad way to keep the money secure.

If your interested please post how much you would like the buy in to be, the site preferred and whatever else you want and I will get it set up.

Me too. Count me in. Did it last year on rtsports.com for $100 buy-in. Was my first time doing a pay league and hell I came in 3rd in a 10 team league. We have a $ league I've been in for about 4 years that the winner is the next years commissioner. I've been the the commissioner year before last and again this year. I hate being THAT GUY! Makes you want to throw the championship game just to not be THAT GUY!

I suggest live drafting for the locals at a bar... Buffalo Wild Wings has a FFL draft deal where they throw in a bunch of shit.

I have a paypal account set up for only fantasy leagues. This is what I've always done.

People will either have the option of sending $103.50 via paypal or sending a check via snail mail.

I typically like leagues with 3 point throwing TDs and 6 point rushing/receiving TDs, but am open either way.

I am impartial about 2 quarterback leagues, makes no difference to me.

I have no idea why you care anyway. Last year, after you had commited to playing in the money league on here, you went AWOL and didn't pay, couldn't be reached, etc.

I've played in leagues with numerous different rules from 8 to 32 teams.
with shit as crazy as 1pt per passing attempt
no trade leagues like WCOFF (though I admittedly haven't done WCOFF since they raised the entry fee from $1000)
auction, keeper, dynasty, salary cap....I've pretty much done them all


and "twice a season 50+ yard receiving TD's" define "lottery league"

no it doesn't...

if you're Chris Johnson and you're running for 80 yard TD's...

you deserve bonus points for TD's like that...

that's TRUE value of a player in an FFL league if you ask me

On your scoring options, why not .1 per rushing or receiving yard (still equates to 1 per 10 but gives credit if a guy gains something that isn't a multiplier of 10 so that every yard counts) and passing points of .2 per 5 yards?

But in your above options I would take out either the WR/TE, TE, or OP slot or even two of them, but I've already said that I don't like the 2QB idea.
A team can run a wishbone with 3RB's, a 3WR set, or 2TE, but 2QBs (unless you're saying that's what the "wildcat" is) isn't done in real football.

But I will argue that it isn't rules that make a league "boring" it's the members thereof that make it worthwhile or not.
My main league though it has the most mundane settings is easily the most entertaining due to the activity of members (trading, trash talking, etc).

I don't do decimal point leagues...I think they are stupid. I really do...

and fantasy football isn't real football...

2 QB leagues, IMO, are so much more interesting because you can literally stream QB's all year long in 1 QB leagues and it totally devalues the position...
