I'm surprised that Shaun Smith made weight, and passed the conditioning test.
I don't really specifically know why. I just am.

Eh, they did the conditioning before going to training camp. Well, they did this year anyway.

its actually the best and fastest way, they just dont give you enough letters and people have to butcher spelling badly.

I get what it's about.

But do we really need to communicate that fast?

I mean, really, how much extra time would it take to spell things out, so to speak?

On a personal level, I couldn't agree with you more. I don't use Twitter for personal use, but I do social media marketing for a small fly fishing company and I tweet their product news and information. It's basically nothing more than gaining tremendous visibility for your company.

And because of that, I'll hook up with sports writers, agents, etc. and get their tweets which are nice because based on their very short sentence, I can determine if I want to proceed with reading their article or not. It's like skimming the newspaper looking for something interesting to read.

As for following individual people- ***** no. I could care less about Tammy in Virginia and what she just had for lunch. That sh*t is just a waste of time.

Agree.

The wow was for the apparent, "no talking to the media" rule, however.

Unless you want to play in a half-empty stadium AGAIN this year, Scott, I'd suggest giving the press some access so they can churn out the "rainbows and unicorns" camp fluff pieces you'll need to sell tickets.

I'm with you and should have acknowledged that. My bad.

The Chiefs need to move on. Let's get this thing rolling. Ship Waters off to New England and get a 6th with incentives and move on.

Let Lilja live and die by the sword at left. And by no means should Asamoah be sitting on the bench on opening day.

I get you. I'll admit I'm biased. The character restriction makes the OCD in me despise the entire input process. I just can't do it. If it's worth sharing, produce it in a manageable fashion. It's not like our bandwidth these days is restricted to lengths necessitating a 140 char limit...

Guys were speaking to the media. Waters spoke to the media. He just declined the question about the conditioning test.

Maybe they told the rookies not to do interviews.

How do you know if it is the real Bowe that is refusing to talk? It could be some guy that looks like him that stole his identity.

KCrockaholic 07-29-2010 11:09 PM

Well if Bowe was told not to talk to the media, he didn't listen very well this off-season. In all honesty he was the only guy on the team that seemed to have something to say this off-season that wasn't productive.

...Nevermind. I didn't even read the whole thread.

I honestly don't know.

I think Asamoah is going to be a fantastic player. I'm not predicting Randell McDaniel like some people on here, but I don't have a problem with Waters starting this year, then handing the keys over to Asamoah in 2011. If an injury comes up, cool, Asamoah can start at 3 positions. But Waters isn't nearly as bad as some people make him out to be, I think people are just tired of him, and tired of hearing about him every year when he isn't even a top tier OL anymore.

anti-climatic "news" with Berry, I know, but the fact that the Chiefs have confirmed likely means #29 will be at practice tomorrow
