No more waiting till next year
 

My kids are now in their mid20s. Every year since they have been around at some point in the season I have told them "oh well, just wait till next year". Sadly they both have gotten to the point where they are competeing with each other to see who can predict when I will utter the phrase.:doh!:

This year actually feels different. My son called the other day and I was suprised to hear that he too feels the difference. Perhaps he, being the older of the two, is gaining wisdom!:thumb:

So for the first time in 30+ years I will not be uttering "just wait till next year'!

This will be the start of the Chiefs dynasty! :drool:

Nope, probably won't even be able to afford to attend any games, but luckily I live far enough away from KC that even when games are blacked out I can still watch. Normally I watch with the sound down and listen to Lenny and Mitch. I hate the damn delay.:banghead:

I sure hope the Chiefs find an all-pro QB, a corps of receivers that actually catch the damn ball, a new C, RT, NT, 3 LBs (including pass rusher), and backups that don't totally **** things up when they step onto the field.

Because when they do, it's CHAMPIONSHIP TIME, BABY!

Honestly if McCluster pans out then we are one good WR from having a pretty good WR corps. Give it two more drafts and I think we will have almost all of our glaring holes filled.

I stopped uttering "Wait till next year" the day that Marty was hired, and have seen no development since that time that has yet to have me think about making that utterance.

What are the chances of us getting that World Cup Octopus to predict our season for us? Might be more accurate.

It doesn't make a difference whether you say it in mid october or early january, its a shitty phrase either way.

I usually say it by the 2nd inning of opening day for the royals
