Hey Buck (need info on San Diego)
There is a good chance i will have to move to San Diego for a job.
I will probably rent since it could be a 6 month - 2 year job. Any suggestions on where to live and where to avoid. Thanks Ang |
You know Buck isn't the only Chiefs fan from SD on here (Detoxing, Gadzooks, SDChiefs to name a few......but since you ASKED for Buck.....then i'll wait for him to answer.....Noob.......

I don't have a lot of time to write now but if you pm me I will give you more info.
The short answer = Pacific Beach or, if you can afford it, La Jolla. |

WHere is the job located at? If you give me the location, I can recommend a few places. Post here or PM me. More than happy to help. |
How much are you getting paid and will you be the only one living at the place or will someone else be helping you with rent?

My Apologies Ang |
I guess I should have asked what is your monthly budget for rent?
|
It would be Myself, wife and three dogs. Unsure of location.
Company is forming as we speak. Pay will be 6 figures and the wife can work from home. I will be entering negotiations after the first of the year. I just want to have my ducks in a row. Ang |
In that case look for places in La Jolla or Rancho Bernardo if your job is in the North County
|
Thanks

La Jolla is nice, but expensive. I live in Rancho Bernardo and enjoy it. Scripps Ranch is another one. Really depends on where you are at though. San Diego is spread out. |
I live in Ocean Beach and I love it (10+ years)

Del Mar La Jolla Coronado would be the nicest communities. Are you looking to live close to central San Diego? You always get a nice Condo with a view downtown in what they call "Condo Canyon". that way your kids or wife can walk to the mall, resturants, ball park etc. |
Carlsbad/Oceanside or Del Mar.

"6 figure income you can live where ever you want." Yeah OK dumbass, 100K in SD is like minimum wage anywhere else in the country. There is not one god damn house in Coronado that is 3/2 for under 700K. He probably wants a house with a wife and 3 dogs dipshit. Do everyone a favor and do not ever under any circumstances give advice on SD to anyone ever again. Link to realtor.com search for Coronado 3/2 houses. Kill self asap kthxbye http://www.realtor.com/realestateand...r%20sale/zl-11 |
