We couldn't land Moss!?

Damnit Matt Pioli! slowest regular season evar! Scott Castle needs WR's to throw to!! this is so teh ghey. :cuss:

ClevelandBronco 10-06-2010 12:45 PM

Do you really think there's any chance he'd play for the Chiefs? It's possible that he'd take the field, I guess, but c'mon.

Johnny Vegas 10-06-2010 12:46 PM

absolutely not. just making the regular season sound like off season. :D

RealSNR 10-06-2010 12:47 PM

If this was a joke, just letting you know-- it wasn't funny

Reerun_KC 10-06-2010 01:16 PM

yeah a little disappointed we didnt bring in a over 30 wr in a contract year whom has a great locker room track record...

Hammock Parties 10-06-2010 01:22 PM

They were going to trade for Moss, but realized Charles needs more carries.

Titty Meat 10-06-2010 01:23 PM

This thread sucks

crazycoffey 10-06-2010 04:39 PM

because we're smarter than the pats and the viks combined?

Shogun 10-06-2010 04:41 PM

Pioli's bed time is at 7, this whole mess didn't happen until 8, can't blame him.

ElGringo 10-06-2010 04:54 PM

Well, if he was bitching and whining in NE, imagine what he would have done here.

I hope this was sarcasm.

The only defense of bringing him in would be being 3-0 and having a win over SD already. You truly never know what could happen. We have killer RB's that aren't beat up and a hell of a lot better D than in the past. There are times to make moves to win now. And Moss did have some big games with Cassel. I seriously doubt Moss would have ever even considered it. I think the Vikes was the desired situation regardless.

kstater 10-06-2010 06:40 PM

I can't believe this hasn't been said.

Moss is a deep threat, Cassel wouldn't be able to get him the ball.

Thats why Pioli would also have signed Kyle Busch to drive him the ball...duh

GloryDayz 10-06-2010 07:13 PM

I think the combination of Moss being able to make some pretty wild one-handed catches, and cASShole's need for people who can catch REALLY badly thrown balls means he could have helped (if the price was right).

KurtCobain 10-06-2010 07:49 PM

I know this is a joke thread, but i really would've liked to have moss here. A third round pick is not to steep a price for someone who has already proven to make matt better. This was the perfect situation too. We're three and oh, and we have a qb who damn sure would've gave him the ball. I don't know if he would sign an extension, but this year we could've become contenders with moss. I'm bummed we didn't make a play for him.

Patriot or Chief time? Because they be on the East Coast and all.

Mama Hip Rockets 10-06-2010 08:26 PM

Matt Cassel actually looked like a somewhat capable NFL QB when he had Moss. It sure would be nice to have a somewhat capable NFL QB on our team.

A third round pick is WAY too steep for a one and done receiver on a team that is building. I know we're 3-0 but you still need a little perspective.

Who's to say he wouldn't of signed on for a few years? If casshole can feed him the ball to his liking, and we have some success, it would only make since to pay the man. He would make the sixty three million dollar mistake look a lot better.

Cassel was able to get the ball to Moss 69 times for 11 TDs 2 years ago. That certainly would help KC's offense. Plus, KC has tons of available money. I know he's not always a team player, but it wouldn't have been a bad move.

Where's Rando?

dj56dt58 11-02-2010 11:53 PM

Nobody will claim Randy Moss. Moss will claim his team when he is ready. Randy Moss will play for who he wants and will play when he wants. Moss will throw the ball and catch it, then he will ask himself questions and answer them. Randy will let you know when he chooses a team.
