I always take the Heath bars out of my kids bags. Peanut M&Ms are hard to beat, too. I always thought it was weird that you get Krackel at Halloween, but you never see it in a store.

one year, the wife and i were out of town for halloween. she bought candy and left it w/our twin sons(teenagers) to hand out. we found out later that they ate all the candy and when the neighbor kids came by, they gave out cans of green beans, cucumbers, and a head of lettuce.

Rolos out in the first round? Rolos are freaking awesome. They shouldn't have split it up between hard candy and chocolate. Sugar Babies still being alive and Rolos not is a travesty.

I get it...most folks hate candy corn...that includes me. But, ran into these and they are outstanding if you like Nerds (they are more like soft Nerds and not candy corn).

Last year, due to Covid. I made "CANDYBOT 2020" With 6" diameter air ducting arm to slide the candy down to kids 6 feet away.

I had to buy heavy candy bars so they would slide all the way down the tube. Every once in a while I would roll a lemon down to a kid as a gag.

We almost never get trick-or-treaters. We live on a street that's all two bedroom townhouse/condos, and I think as people have kids they realize the units are too small and move on. The most we've ever had in the 20 years we've lived here was five or six kids, and some years nobody shows up. There are some kids on the street because I see them get off the school bus, but they sure don't seem to give a crap about Halloween.

So we buy candy and for the most part end up eating it ourselves. As a result, we get good candy. Reeses FTW!

I like this general concept. Maybe I'll only give out candy bars if they do enough situps on my porch to cancel out the calories.

I just had this conversation but I prefer fun size over full size. Its a weirdo thing but I'd rather have a couple bites of 3 or 4 different things over having 2 whole bars and feeling sick.

I also like bit-O-honey and smarties, so I hope that list doesn't become a universal guide.
