**** Todd Boumans woman

Hopefully someone threw beer at her.

grandllama 10-24-2010 03:56 PM

Or did what your thread title states.

007 10-24-2010 03:56 PM

CBS was really pissing me off with her. I felt like it was the 99 Kurt Warners woman again.

Hammock Parties 10-24-2010 03:57 PM

My hate for her rivals my hate for Kirstie Tynes.

Molitoth 10-24-2010 03:57 PM

What is she supposed to do? She was rightfully cheering on her husband. I'm sure she got tons of shit during the game.

Shogun 10-24-2010 03:58 PM

I wanted to light her on fire and throw her out of a plane into the super bowl halftime show

Well what do you expect. With our cheerleaders looking like a group of 13 year old boys that have never heard of stridex....

they gotta show some eye candy.

KcMizzou 10-24-2010 03:58 PM

I hope the fans were polite to them, but honestly at one point I was hoping to see them in tears.

Coach 10-24-2010 03:58 PM

It was funny. CBS shows them when Todd was terrorizing our defense in the first half, but not a single shot, that I'm aware of, when KC was plastering his ass on the field.

Yeah, discrimation by the CBS stooges.

Spott 10-24-2010 03:59 PM

I was thinking the same thing. I would have thrown my beer on her kids and told her she was no Kirstie Tynes.

meh... I didn't mind it. His kids got to watch him play an NFL game. They will have a video of their daddy playing pro football and video of themselves at the game.

It's likely gonna be a one time thing. I don't really have a problem with it.

True, even though they showed her spinning around a time or two talking crap at the fans. Enjoy a long tractor ride home, Mrs. Bouman. At least he can drive that.

Why not? I mean, it's completely wrong when other fans do it, but I think we can justify it here... if you're going to take your kids into a hostile opponent's environment, it's your own damn fault.

we went to the home opener MNF and as we were walking to the stadium, there were a line of guys at a port-o-potty and a charger fan walked by and got beer dumped on him before the game even started. Made me really embarrassed.

I apologized and said that most Chiefs fans didn't act like Raider heads.

He said he knew he would be in hostile territory, but didn't think that would happen at Arrowhead.

T-post Tom 10-24-2010 04:14 PM

I'm not a fan of exposing kids to inappropriate behavior. BUT, you don't bring your YOUNG children to a football game wearing the visitors' gear. Not if you don't want them exposed to some adult language, or worse. Seriously. Imagine if she did that in NY or Oakland!?!

She should have gotten seats in a suite. That or left the Jags' gear at the hotel.

I think my favorite part of the game was that we didn't see her at all during the second half. They kept showing her before halftime and I was thanking my lucky stars I wasn't at arrowhead sitting behind her, because I'd probably have been arrested for donkey punching her.

Her husband just got called out of the field, literally, to play in the NFL. I don't blame her one bit. I'd probably be the same way after my husband was like 1700 + days out of the NFL. She's getting a new car.

Throwing beer on her wouldn't be right, but I thought it was kind of low-class the way she was turning around to face the fans behind here when she was cheering her husband's TD passes (unless they were people she knew).

crossbow 10-24-2010 04:49 PM

I admire her moxy for going to a hostile stadium and cheering on her man. She was surrounded by the enemy but she stood her ground the whole time. She is a good woman. Too bad they weren't playing some other team and the kids got to see their dad bring home a victory. Enough of the sentimental crap...glad the Chiefs dominated a team they were supposed.

KCBOSS1 10-24-2010 04:50 PM

It looked to me like the folks behind her were smiling. Maybe I missed some. I'll watch it back later, but it didn't look like she was taunting anybody to me.

Deberg_1990 10-24-2010 04:52 PM

They probably showed a little too much of her, but CBS wants to create a nice story if Jax would have ended up winning.

Ive got zero problem with her or her kids. Lay off guys

In that case, there would be something really wrong with the fans around her... I see visiting team fans at Arrowhead during every game and haven't ever seen a problem that wasn't started by those fans, and that includes Broncos games, Raiders games, playoff games..... and I really don't think anyone would mess with a woman and her kids, and I don't think it's a risk at Arrowhead.

Maybe GoChiefs can provide a gif, but I didn't see her taunting... she was celebrating and I saw her look around a few times. If she was taunting and got a beer thrown on her, the person who threw it would get booed and would be escorted out, and I don't think it would be the end of the world for her or her kids.

Who's being sentimental? [ "Too bad they weren't playing some other team and the kids got to see their dad bring home a victory."]

I don't have a problem with her going to the stadium. Under the circumstances, I don't admire her choice of bringing her young children into that environment (especially while wearing the Jag's gear). I've been to a lot of football games and I know those kids heard things they shouldn't have. That's just my opinion, but I suspect most parents of children that age would agree.

You must live in a parallel universe, because I've witnessed the foulest of language and behavior at Arrowhead involving fans in Chiefs' and oppposing gear. But whatever, the Chiefs won and we should be celebrating. WOOT!

KCBOSS1 10-24-2010 05:01 PM

No, I have kids that age and they're not ignorant as to what goes on at arrowhead. They may raise their eyebrows a little, but they're okay. She's fine. Why is this even a topic? It's not that hostile in Arrowhead. It's a little rowdy, but it's not like Oakland or Cleveland. For the most part, the fans are respectful. They are prone to protect women and kids. I'm sure she was fine. Sounds like it just got on a few guys nerves on here. I thought it was funny and she was gutsy.

Okay, foul language is definitely an issue (they look old enough to know all the words though), and the kids might have been subjected to someone telling their mom to StFD and StFU. Beyond that... eh.
