Looking for a good place to eat near the Waldo area of KCMO. Meeting some friends there before attending a concert at Sprint Center Saturday night....

What show is happening on Saturday? Waldo Pizza is pretty hard to beat.

Waldo Pizza in Waldo is about 4x better than any other Waldo location. Strange but true.

I used to eat at their little brother in Lawrence all the freaking time. I've only been to the original like 3 times, but liked it every time.

Horrible! They serve that disgusting St. Loser style pizza with provel its revolting.

I agree that pizza with provel is revolting but I've never had pizza with provel at Waldo. You can order it with traditional mozzerella.

Waldo's pizza has a pretty good salad bar too. it has all kinds of good stuff on it. There is a rooftop bar next door that is the bar if you want to chase some bush (16 stone)

Waldo Pizza has very good pizza, Dave Lane. It is one of the top 2 pizza places in KC. Yes, they do serve a St. Louis style pie in addition to the hand-tossed that everyone orders, but the STL isn't their default option or anything. No one orders that.

75th Street Brewery has Kobe beef burgers... it wasn't listed on their menu for a long time, but I think it's now a permanent selection.


Pizza Hut is pretty close by, too (I kid, I kid).

Whenever I go to an event at the Sprint Center the first place I think of to have dinner is the Waldo area.

Just to give another option: The Gaf.

whenever I see a Pioli Zombie post the first thing I think of is I wish that guy could read.

I don't swear by it, but I do like it from time to time.
