A pissed off Chan Gailey comin' to town

Ready to kick ass and take names.

With the way Haley did him last year you know he spent significant time in the offseason thinking of ways to get this win in Arrowhead.

The Bills come off a game in which they hung over 500 yards on the Ravens.

Ryan Fitzpatrick comes off a 374 yd outing and has thrown for 11 TD and 4 INT on the season with a passer rating over 100.

They've scored 30 plus against New England and Baltimore.

However, they can't stop the run AT ALL.

This should be a fairly high scoring affair and could be a lot closer than people anticipate.

Hammock Parties 10-25-2010 01:25 PM

0-6

#28 offense

#32 defense

fear Chan Gailey!

Brock 10-25-2010 01:25 PM

Says the guy who took Cleveland by 10+ in week 2.

Chiefs by at least 30.

Hammock Parties 10-25-2010 01:27 PM

We will run the wildcat on every play this week.

400 yards rushing. 100 apiece for Charles, Jones, McCluster and Battle.

Chiefs Rool 10-25-2010 01:28 PM

we might have 3 RBs with a 100 yards each in this game

Deberg_1990 10-25-2010 01:30 PM

Does he run the Pistol with CJ Spiller?

JonesCrusher 10-25-2010 01:32 PM

I've got my Buck Fuffalo shirt cleaned and ready.

Slainte 10-25-2010 01:32 PM

Gayley = reeruned human shield.

Chiefs + 3 TDs...

Deberg_1990 10-25-2010 01:32 PM

Does he run the Wildcat with Marques Hagans?

Chiefs Pantalones 10-25-2010 01:35 PM

We can't take them lightly that's for sure. If we just play our game and dictate things in all three phases of the game we'll win this one.

I'm kind of glad they were playing the Ravens tough. With the Raiders @ Oakland on the schedule the following week, I was thinking this could be a game we might overlook, and get bit in the backside for doing just that. The way they played the Ravens should take care of that aspect.

Jacksonville was a wakeup call for the Chiefs.

They won't take Buffalo lightly.

I agree. I'm glad they didn't get punked. I think that's why it was hard for us to take care of the Jags at first.

Deberg_1990 10-25-2010 01:46 PM

Buffalo is a different team with Fitzpatrick at QB.

If Buffalo had anything resembling a defense they might be 3-3 right now.

Of course, people here think we'll walk all over them - and we may - but all folks here see are the record and a QB none of them think are any good and figure for a blowout.

Probably what Patriots, Dolphins, Jags and Ravens fans thought as well.

RealSNR 10-25-2010 01:51 PM

Sign Marques Haggan just for this game and beat the shit out of that shitass team as a way to dickslap Gailey in the face for that awful experiment he embarrassed Chiefs fans with in 2008

Oakland and San Diego will be the two teams atop the division this year.

Sound familiar?

Red Dawg 10-25-2010 01:54 PM

0-6 teams are scary. They have nothing lose and everything to gain by trying for trick plays and 4th down conversions. They may be 0-6 and but Fitz lit up NE and Balt.

SenselessChiefsFan 10-25-2010 01:59 PM

The great thing? We are worried about a 'letdown'.... not praying for our first or second win.

The Bills won't be an easy game. There are no 'easy' games. Even blowouts are harder than most fans will ever realize.

There are no gimme games.

It will be interesting to see how the Chiefs handle it.

Basileus777 10-25-2010 02:02 PM

Gailey has done a good job with Buffalo's offense, but their defense is a complete mess. Put their current offense with Jauron's defense and the Bills wouldn't be so terrible.

Good post.

If you think Chan is pissed off now... wait until 3:30 Sunday afternoon.

In all seriousness though, I'm glad the Bills played so well offensively yesterday. It will make the Chiefs take notice, and not take them for granted.

Bane 10-25-2010 02:05 PM

Should be a good game, but I bet we still kick the shit out of The Bills.

Why is he reeruned? He was the only bright spot in the Herm's days. Our offense did well with him.

Pablo 10-25-2010 02:30 PM

Chiefs - Lex Steele
Bills - perky little balloon knot

Chan The Inscrutable will leave Arrowhead with severe stomach pains and a very sore ass, Mr. B_Ambuehl. Haley will not only go for it on 4th down on Sunday, he'll go for it on 5th down. Haley will challenge every ruling and every play and call the fake go-for-it, punt-formation, double-reverse, end-around, flea-flicker, stretch-the-field, super-pass a dozen times. Chan won't know what hit him as Haley proves to the entire world, once and for all times, leaving no question or doubt, who is the greatest offensive mind in football and the craziest motherf***er in the jungle.

He's trading w/ Miami for Thigbone this week. The spread will be fully installed by Sunday.

Fear the Thiggy-Spread, Chiefs fans!

Mr. Arrowhead 10-25-2010 02:44 PM

Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones are both must starts in fantasy football this week

SenselessChiefsFan 10-25-2010 02:56 PM

I liked Chan Gailey. I would love to see him have great success starting in November.

I was glad to see him get an opportunity in Buffalo.

I hope that the Chiefs stomp them, and then they go on to be 9-7.

Iowanian 10-25-2010 02:57 PM

Hell....Mark Castle might be able to throw for 300 yards against Buffalo.

keg in kc 10-25-2010 03:14 PM

I think the end of the Houston game was good for KC. I thought at the time it would be a defining moment, but I wasn't sure it was the moment where things fell apart or the moment where things came together. After Sunday, I'm leaning towards things coming together. Sure they gave up 20 points in the first half against Jax. And then they shut them out in the second, once they'd seen Bauman and what Jacksonville was trying to do. They made halftime adjustments and then lowered the boom on a team they should beat.

This isn't a mystery situation with Bauman coming in out of a field somewhere and chucking passes all over the place when everybody on earth expected the Jags to try and run the ball all day. They know what Buffalo is, what Buffalo does, they have a month of tape on Fitzpatrick to look at and I'll trust that Crennel will come up with something to try to disrupt them.

Sure, they'll probably give up some yards in the passing game. But that wouldn't exactly be anything new. Maybe they'll surprise us and have another game like they did against SF. Maybe they won't. But this is a game they should win.

Did Linehan try to run the option with Hagans? Herm and Gailey did.

I always worry about games like this. I was really hoping the Bills would beat the Ravens because if the Chiefs would lose to them at least they wouldn't lose to an winless team.

Linehan didn't run anything with him. What's sad is that in 2007, when the Rams got their first win against the Saints in New Orleans, Randy McMichael got his first TD as a Ram by a pass from Steven Jackson.
