The Rams are highest on the waiver priority list at 13th. The Redskins are 15th, the Dolphins are 18th and the Titans are 23rd.

The Titans, Rams and Redskins have a bye this week, which would allow them more time to integrate Moss into their offense.

On Tuesday, league sources told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora that the Rams, Dolphins, Titans and Seattle Seahawks were considering claiming Moss.

Moss is owed roughly $3 million in salary if he is claimed. If he goes unclaimed, then the Vikings are responsible for his full salary and Moss would become an unrestricted free agent eligible to sign with any club.

Contrary to some reports, some people in the Vikings front office knew head coach Brad Childress intended to waive Moss, but word might not have trickled up to team owner Zygi Wilf, NFL.com insider Steve Wyche reported Tuesday, according to a team source. Childress has control over team personnel decisions for the 53-man roster.

The source noted that Moss' behavior both in the locker room and after Sunday's loss at New England was a key factor in Childress' decision.

Moss' actions during a Friday locker-room buffet last week reportedly upset some teammates, including quarterback Brett Favre, according to the St. Paul Pioneer-Press.

Looks like we might of dodged a bullet there...

As a fantasy owner, I think he would do very well with McNabb and Bradford.

Him going to the Titans or the Dolphins is a nightmare.

The Chiefs don't need to get a locker room cancer like Larry Johnson to mess up the team chemistry. Let Moss do that somewhere else.

I'm on the fence about Moss, but I trust Haley and Pioli with this.

I think he'd be a good fit in Tennessee. That team would be a lot better.

first, i doubt they really know who is serious and who isn't.

secondly, being serious doesn't really matter ... if they want him they grab him. It isn't a bidding process. If the Rams want him they got him.

he has to be close to having played enough this season

Uhh. If your serious about wanting him you put in a claim. If your not serious about wanting him then you don't claim him? Its a pretty simple concept to comprehend actually.

Huh? It makes no sense. The Raiders couldn't wait to discard the guy in 2007 and sent him to New England for a fourth-round pick. So why would they want him back?

But nothing happens in Oakland without Al Davis signing off on it. So if he didn't think he should've let him go, he should've never let him go. Seems pretty simple to me. I mean, nothing goes on without the owner's approval, and since Al Davis owns the Raiders no deal is done without his OK. So what gives?

According to the source, Davis went along with the move because he was trying to make good with then-coach Lane Kiffen. Kiffen didn't want Moss around, so Davis was going to make things as comfy for his head coach as he could -- which meant he wouldn't block the deal. Now, Kiffen is long gone, the Raiders are competitive again and Randy Moss is on the market.

"It makes sense," said the source.

I'm not convinced. But stay tuned.

Haley says the Chiefs are not interested in Moss, per Josh Looney on Twitter.
