How often do you brush your teeth?
 

Had a discussion with someone and was surprised by their answer. I'm curious what the average is here on CP.

2x a day, when i get up and after dinner (usually).

I don't hardly floss unless I get something in my teeth I can't get out.

Not the best of habits according to my dentist. But he's an ass and what does he care, he's rollin' in bank and could give a damn.

3+ times a day not that anyone could tell. This disease is making them crumble

At least twice a day.

When I wake up and before I go to sleep EVERYDAY

Should've been a public poll, I want to make sure I keep my distance from the "less than once a week or never" crowd.

Yep. 100% of the time. A couple Sundays ago I loafed around and didn't get it done in the morning and I felt like garbage all day. I was disgusting.

Every night before I go to bed. Along with a minute of swishing around Listerine Complete Cinnamint.

I aim for twice a day but honestly I'm lucky to hit that twice a week.

Mostly once a day here...

Before work, at lunch (usually - if not on the road), before bed.

Twice a day. Once when i wake up, and once before bed. Floss maybe once a week or when something gets stuck in my teeth. Get my teeth cleaned twice a year...never had a cavity in my life.

Never brag. Today, you'll probably bust a tooth on a turkey bone or sumthin'.

I try to brush 3 times per day, but usually at least twice (when I wake up and right before bed). I need to be better about flossing, but i always use mouthwash at night too. But never in my life have I not brushed at least twice in a day.

I chose twice a day but sometimes I miss. I pass out in my recliner at least once a week and the wife leaves me there.

I don't either. It's not like I ate anything overnight. I brushed and flossed right before bed. Morning is basically a germ-killing rinse IMO. But I also perform biannual maintenance (six month cleanings, annual x-rays, any cavity gets filled).

Yeah but that's when your breath smells the worst lol.

Well, that's what the Listerine rinse is for. Besides, as soon as I step out of the bathroom I'm going to drink coffee; that oughta kill anything. :)

sometimes another time during the day if i eat something that really sticks in my teeth or i'm going out that night.

+ gargle after each brushing
+ flossing occasionally (should do it more)
+ once or twice a week i gargle with hydrogen proxide/water mix (really good for gums)

Brushing in the morning is so hardwired into me, I don't think it's possible for me not to do it under regular circumstances. Also brush before bed.

No, I'm an American but yes, it absolutely does. Lots of sweets (candy) and crappy/gubmint dentists, but at least they're "free." Probably also some genetic aspect to it as well.
