Are You All Serious?
You are seriously counting Cassell out? The dude is putting up great numbers for your team and you should be excited for him, but you are downing his season. The dude has 23 TD's and 4 INT's. That's not a fluke season so far. What's up with you guys? Brodie Croyle isn't going to be better for you than Cassel is. FACT. You guys make me laugh.
It's almost as if you guys know nothing! I hope this isn't true... ROFL |
How is it you're allowed to start threads?

Yes because stats mean everything dipshit... He has played very well the past 2 games.
The first half of the season, was awful, hard to watch. Just because he throws TD's in the redzone doesn't mean he has done awesome.. Watch a freaking game every now and then before you say stupid shit like this. |
If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand the answer anyway.

Wow. Just wow.

Sure numbers aren't everything, of course they aren't. If you guys are reeruned enough to not see potential in his numbers though, not see potential in what he has done, his drive, his heart and attitude... Then I don't know what to say. Maybe you guys don't deserve such dedication.

Your team traded away a young franchise QB and drafted Tim Tebow.
You're hardly in a position to tell us all about the QBs on our roster. |

I'm telling you right now, if Cassel misses two weeks, you miss the playoffs.

His most glaring problem is and always has been getting hurt. That's it. That hardly makes him a cornerstone of a franchise, but it doesn't have to. The kid simply has a better arm than Cassel. Cassel IS our QB because he does other things much better than Croyle. Also, Croyle's 0-9 record can hardly be taken seriously considering the shitty teams he QBed. He's not Peyton Manning or Tom Brady (he certainly wasn't at the time when he was handed the keys to this team halfway through his 2nd year as a pro). Oh, and I know this has been mentioned before but Cassel happens to be INJURED right now. |

This thread is confusing me. Since when is the Planet happy about Cassel being out? Is this AA moron joking?

Brodie Croyle is the better QB I think, at least talent-wise, arm strength, accuracy etc.
But he won't play as well as Cassel would play on this Sun, simply because Croyle has less than a week to prepare and play with the 1st team reps, as Cassel's been developing chemistry with them all season long. Assuming of course, Croyle is able to survive the whole game. |

And from what I understand they were able to do his appendectomy laparoscopically and the recovery time will be much much shorter. I trust Haley in making the right call on whether or not to allow Cassel to play. If he cant on the other hand I hope his backup can perform well enough to keep us close and possibly win the game. PS. you should realize by now that the majority of the haters on this board do not represent the feelings of all chiefs fans. |

I'd kinda like to see Brody come in and tear it up and relegate the Casshole to the bench permanently. I'll say this - he played better in the starting opportunities he had 2 years ago than Casshole ever did in '09. Hell, he nearly beat the Ravens on the road last year. I'm curious to see what he can do with some decent protection because that's something he never had when he did get a chance to play.

People always like the backup QB. It's always been that way. Although I like Brodie, I always have. But he has to be able to stay healthy. I don't think his problems were just having a poor offensive line. He has been very fragile.
