You people don't know what Horrible is...

Horrible is when your favorite team only had 1 win last year. Horrible is when you go from 8 wins to 3 to 2 to 1. Horrible is watching your favorite team win 6 games over a 3 year span. Horrible is when your favorite team had the worst 3 year stretch for a NFL team since the 1930's. Horrible is watching your team go winless at home. You guys have no clue what a horrible team is. I was jealous of the Chiefs 4 win season last year. Do you know how sad that is? Hoping your team wins 4 games?

Yeah we know exactly what it's like.Going from 11-5 or 10-6 seasons and either winning the AFCW or finishing 2nd for 10+ years to winning 2-6 games and being at the bottom of everything every week.Been there done that.STFU

You don't know what it's like to win 6 games over a three year period.

Lonewolf Ed 12-12-2010 10:11 AM

Detroit has lost a minimum of 10 games in 9 of the last 10 seasons. I think their fans get to stand in the front of the Pissing and Moaning Line.

I don't feel sorry for a team that its city and it's "fans" don't even care about. The Rams could continue to be crappy for the next 20 years and the people their wouldn't care. St. Louis doesn't give a shit about the Rams. That city is a baseball town. Next week it's gonna be an extra home game for the Chiefs.

Rams Fan 12-12-2010 10:13 AM

I'm just pissed at reading how KnowMo didn't watch games after the Broncos have won 3 games. That's all.

Do you feel sorry for the people that actually show up to the Dome to go to games and pay over $100 for a ticket?

I'm thinking someone is setting himself up to either feel better or talk trash next week depending on the outcome of that game.

JD10367 12-12-2010 10:18 AM

Chiefs last Super Bowl win: 1969
Rams last Super Bowl win: 1999

Chiefs record from 1998 through 2009: 86 wins, 0-2 in playoffs
Rams record from 1998 through 2009: 88 wins, 6-4 in playoffs, 1 SB win, 1 SB loss

I'm just a fan of the "other" team in Missouri. I'm just here because I don't like a lot of Rams boards.

Hootie 12-12-2010 10:23 AM

their fans are so loyal that a few years ago I went with a friend to a Rams/Packers game (the game where Favre set the yardage record) and the stadium was legitimately 80% Packers fans...

That's not an over exaggeration, either.

Forserious. My Pats have been on the winning side for a decade but, if they sucked balls, I would never consider going to another team's fan base--especially another team not even in my conference, let alone division--and have the self-pity to tell them "they don't know what horrible is" when my team has won a SB THIRTY YEARS MORE RECENTLY. He deserves so much negative rep carpetbombing that his monitor should grow a penis, jump off his desk, and butt**** him until he passes out from the pain.

I wouldn't care if I was getting laughed at. I've seen Saints,Colts, and Packers fans invade the Dome when they play in St. Louis. When the Dome is 70% opponents fans and 30% Rams fans, it can be pretty miserable...

At least the Chiefs fans know it's on the upswing. Solid GM, solid HC, solid OC and DC, defense is growing, running game is kick-ass, QB isn't shitting his pants... no matter what happens the rest of this year, Chiefs fans can go into the offseason knowing--whether they lose the next four to finish 8-8, or go on a run and win the Super Bowl--the Chiefs team that shows up for training will be better than this one. In that regard, maybe, Rams fans can whine a bit, because aside from QB there's nothing in St. Louis that indicates they'll be above the Mendoza Line any time soon.

Problem is, he's not "talking Rams football", he's whining, trying to get sympathy, and unfairly portraying his team as being worse than he says. If he wants to talk about the past three years, maybe. If he wants to talk about the future, okay, it's not looking so good for the Rams. But to say "you people don't know what horrible is" deserves a splintery rake handle up the pooper.

One of the reasons I keep coming back here is that, despite being a Chiefs board, this place is passionate about anything involving sports. You guys talk other NFL games and start threads for them, you talk baseball, NASCAR, whatever. If someone started an intelligently-framed thread discussing other NFL teams, or even specifying (e.g. "NFC also-rans: which team has the best future potential?"), I'm sure it would be a pages-long discussion. If someone starts a stupid ****ing thread, they get treated like a stupid ****.

Hootie 12-12-2010 10:38 AM

you know what irks me about the Madden update?

Now, don't get me wrong...Jamaal Charles is the 2nd best player in that entire game (when you're actually playing)...

but Cassel updates have gone like this: 79, 78, 79, 80, 81, 83, 85, 87 over the course of the year...

Charles has gone: 88, 89, 90 (and he's stalled at 90 over the last 3 updates)...

How is CJ a 99 but Charles is only a 90?

Bowe is up to a 91, Flowers 92, and Hali 91 IIRC

DJ is an 84, Dorsey an 82, Edwards an 80...Carr 78, Moeaki 78, McCluster 75, Arenas 74

I haven't watched enough Rams games to have an informed opinion on Spags, but the three games I have seen suggest that Bradford is going to be the goods.

I think this is a good point. The whole time Im reading this Im thinking "haven't they been to a superbowl or two lately?" No one wants to hear whining, especially when the whiner is wrong. If it was a more thought out post I wouldn't mind it so much. San Lou-eeeeze does have it pretty Shitty though. Traffic sucks, they play football in a dome with no place to tailgate, and their crimerate is high enough to make it one of very few places in the U.S. more violent than KC. There weren't any Rams fans before '99. During the Rich Brooks, Tony Banks days they were all Packers, Niner, and Cowboy fans. Now that the team has a young, promising QB and in "first place" folks are slowly hopping back on after another horrible 3 year stretch. That still won't be enough to stop Arrowhead East from coming to fruition. You may be loyal, but a majority of that fanbase is fickle as all hell.
