I told myself that in 2011 I was going to get in shape and do something fun and out of the ordinary. It didn't cross my mind to join a football team, (I was thinking more along the lines of roller derby). I have a lot of stress in my life and I think inflicting pain against another woman might just be what I need to get out of my funk. :evil:

However, I checked out the Nebraska Stampede website via an ad on Craigslist. They're looking for players for the 2011 season. After clicking on a few of the links, I clicked on the profiles link...

Actually, I played quite a bit of sandlot football when I was younger, (of course I was the only girl playing). If I was in the same shape I was in back then, I wouldn't even hesitate to at least try out.

Honestly you would do fine. Most of them probably have normal testosterone levels. I've talked to a couple girls that play rugby and they said there is a lot of "hooking up" going on however. I would think football would be the same way.

Weird. I think the Springfield Roller Girls have done it nearly all year. And they hold tryouts every so often.
