On a related note, I felt all thrifty today as well. I've been looking at file cabinets, but I don't like the shitty construction they use on the cheap ones. By complete chance, I walked into a Goodwill with my wife while waiting on some work being done on our car, and walked out with one of these for $15. I'm as thrilled as I could possibly be about a piece of furniture.

I found my bed frame for a full size bed and my kitchen table(great condition) at a thrift store for 30 bucks for both. Very pleased.

And good find on the number 31. I have a Bono jersey somewhere too that I got at a garage sale for under a dollar.

I can't buy used clothes, because it creeps me out for some reason. But we've gotten a lot of our furniture from antique stores. Our dining room table, our dining room buffet, my rolltop desk, and four side tables in our bedroom came from antique stores. Probably more, but I can't think of other stuff right now.

I bought a roll of used carpet from a thrift store once. Still had a body in it and everything!

I'll give you $3.50 for both the jersies.

Salvation Army rules, i've bought several pairs of jeans there, nothing feels better & fits like a second skin, like a pair of well used jeans.

Old Navy jeans are worth the $.50 it cost for the 6 year old little Asian girl to put them together. They're thin garbage. I'd rather buy a pair of quality denim at the thrift store even if they had snail trails on the crotch. That's why God made washing machines.

I don't understand why people bother with jeans from places like Old Navy. If you get some nice Levi's or even Lee jeans they will last for years and be well worth the price.
