I'm surprised one of the Dallas locals haven't started this up. I started watching them when I moved to Garland back in '87. They had Ro Blackman, Derek Harper, Mark Aguirre. Aguirre never wanted to play D. I got tickets to a couple games through my sister who worked for their law firm. I even got tickets to Dr. J's last game there though there was a mix-up with the tickets and got in late. He gave a speech before the game which I missed. On top of that he was injured and didn't play.

There's been some ups and downs, and certainly a lot of people still pissed about their last trip to the finals. I never thought Dirk had the killer instinct. He still really doesn't play D, but he is much more aggressive than he used to be.

Hell yes, **** Miami. And **** the whole state of Florida. And **** DuhKCman.

I thought about starting one, but i just thought there were only a few of us that are mavs fans. But i guess in the Finals pretty much the whole NBA will be routing for us except Miami douches and ESPN

Heres to the NBA players going on strike before the completion of the series.

Mavs will be lucky to win one game

Already won two against the Heat this year.

Mavs aren't scared of entitled hero ball flava clowns.

Bulls are a team built for the regular season. They also had to deal with their only other scoring threat being injured and playing like crap. Defense isn't everything in the NBA like it is in football.

Tainted and unearned. The rightful owner of that trophy will have his revenge.

why is that unearned? Wade and Shaq was a great combo that year.

I would like to see the Mavs win. But I get the feeling that this is 2006 all over again. Then it was the superstar Wade getting his first NBA Finals trophy (and more free throws then the whole Dallas team in one game), now do you think Stern is going to let Mark Cuban sniff a trophy with Wade, Lebron and Bosh waiting to get one?

Again don't get me wrong, would love to see the Mavericks win. I just doubt the whole system.

And the refs.

Everyone knows that championship is tainted.

Dirk has been waiting a long time for this and has been left with the sting of it since 2006. That said, it didn't look like he wanted it last night. He added almost nothing to the defensive and rebounding effort. Stoyochovich (sp) is worthless if he isn't hitting his shot. He plays absolutely no defense. That said the refs were calling it very tight last night. The play where Dirk hurt his finger had no body contact and looks like he got ball. James should have gotten his fifth on the offensive end after he got his fourth when he gave Barrea an absolute forearm shiver and wasn't called.

Van Gundy is a horrible color man.

Well I think if Terry and Stojakovic hit some shots then that would open things up a bit more for Dirk. It gets really tough when they can play Dirk tight and then collapse the lane if he gets around his man.

I'd love for the Mavs to win this series, like 99.9% of the rest of the people who even know the NBA finals is going on right now.

I'd also love to see LeBron blow out both ACLs at the same time and never play again.

But I wouldn't bet a dollar on either one happening.

The series is already over, the Heat are the NBA's new chosen team.

Id give peja 1 more game, to see if he can hit a shot, but if he is off again, we need to play corey brewer the rest of the series

I ****ing hate Lebitch.

Heat in 5... 6 tops... and the dynasty begins. Dirk will go down is history like Stockton and Malone, great players who never won it all.

Please dont count out JJ Barea. Im his biggest fan I like him because hes foreign and great at the same time. His passes are striked perfect each time. Kidd is slow but great. Dirk will be like fire which is great because they need his attack. I also nicknamed Barea Fuego because he plays like fire also.

Lets go Mavs Im rooting!

I will say that watching he and Dirk do pick and rolls against the Thunder was pretty amazing. They had no answer. I did not see them try this once with these two against the Heat the other night. :shrug:

The Mavs are an interesting team... watching them in this playoff series reminds me of what it was like to watch the Broncos back in the late 80s, early 90s.

They dominated the Lakers series, but Portland, OKC and now Miami... they've looked off at points, never letting it get too out of hand, but last night was what - the 4th game now where I've said "Ok, they're just not coming back, the other guys are looking way too poised... they can't do it again."

And then, just like that - BOOM - Dirk awakens, puts the team back on his shoulders and says 'follow me'. It's been awesome and now, Dallas has the edge. They have 3 of the remaining 5 games in Dallas - should it go that far, and I think it at least goes 6, but we may very well have a 7 game series here.

It's been a fun ride, I hope it continues.

1 thing i love about Dirk is, no matter how bad of a game he has had during the first 3 quarters, he seems like he always comes through during the 4th quarter and crunch time.

Headed for Elway status.

Dirk deserves a lot of credit, his game has really changed since the arrival of Carlisle and the team doesn't know the meaning of the word quit. They're about as poised under pressure as they can be right now.

They lack the attacking presence that OKC showed and that Miami has, but they're finding ways to stay poised and not let a double digit lead depress them and that's really amazing considering the circumstances.

These next two games in Dallas should really be good.

Have to admit I turned the channel about the time this video started with the Chalmers 3. I turned it back on in time to see Kidd hit the 3 to drop the lead to six. I was totally disgusted when Terry played absolutely no D on that 3 to tie. Why was he in there on D after a called timeout? Chandler got away with an NFL type block on Nowitzki's clutch 3.

I think the thing that will show if the Mavs can win is how long they can keep up with the high energy D and rebounding. They have lose D and rebounding when they go to the bench. The Mavs will also need to attack the basket like they did in this game. Chandler has to do a better job of finishing.

He's also the biggest flopper in the league, although Dirk is pretty good at it too. The game of basketball is taking too many cues from soccer.

Last night was so depressing for me. Almost felt like 97.

I wouldnt mind Wade, but his constant crying about "everybody hates us, people wanna see us lose. We're the villians" gets ****ing OLD.

No arguement here. That ****ing lean into the defender in the air to get free throws even if not shooting has to be changed too. Last night the one where Kidd got Wade in the air then completely moved to get under Wade without any kind of shot whatsoever was absurd.

Defenders shouldn't leave their feet.

Wade, Bron, Dirk, Kobe, and tons of other players do it. Some (Wade/Kobe) are more successful than others.

None of'em had a very good game, Dirk hit a few sweet shots but not enough obviously.

The entire league does it, just like the entire league takes 4-5 steps on a drive. It looks fugging ridiculous because it is.
