I'm Sorry, but where is the twin lead guitars in pantera, Pantera rarely talks about dragons or thatched rooves. Pantera barely even goes into Sorcery. I can't even think of a single song that involves gypsies riding horses into the mountain top of wonder to slay nay beast Sirahianham.

I just love the fact that they have great solos in almost every song, and their guitarists are awesome. Some people don't like Bruce's singing, but I think you grow to like it over time. I even like the singer they had on their first 2 albums. The guy who replaced Bruce for 2 albums sucked though.

Pantera is probably one of the top ten most overrated bands ever. They simultaneously bore me and piss me off. They took thrash metal and sapped the life out of it by making it more groove-oriented.

Even still, they have some kick-ass songs.

But, really, the best metal songs typically aren't reliant on one riff. They have multiple, ever changing, riffs.

I may be totally off on this but, if a band that sold out stadiums 30 years ago must resort to playing Indian Casinos... they should probably just hang up the drumsticks and guitar picks.

I doubt any of these 3 ever sold out a stadium. They weren't Metallica, GnR or Floyd. You have to be pretty big to sell out a stadium.

I'd rather play casinos than get a day job. Not that Whitensnake or Skid Row probably need to get a day job had they invested their money correctly. But that was 20 years ago. Hookers, booze and blow ain't cheap.
