Chester taylor or Thomas jones

skjensenSean Jensen
BREAKING: RB Chester Taylor will be released by #Bears, according to league source.

OnTheWarpath15 08-29-2011 10:04 AM

Does Chester start locker room fights?

Gain more than 2.9 per carry?

Micjones 08-29-2011 10:24 AM

Taylor averaged 2.4 yards per carry last year. No thanks.
I know the Thomas Jones hate is thick around here, but my God...

But does he assault his teammates?

The Franchise 08-29-2011 10:37 AM

Can I choose to go with neither?

As long as your answer doesn't involve Jackie Battle, it's an option.

Deal.

No Taylor, Jones or Battle.

Hootie 08-29-2011 10:40 AM

Thomas Jones easily

that said

I really hope Thomas Jones gets 5 carries or less per game...

I really want Charles and Dex getting 80-85% of our rushes

Ok. So who's left? And don't say McCluster.

why can't we say McCluster?

Mr. Laz 08-29-2011 10:47 AM

Thomas Jones is the least of our offensive worries

ChiefGator 08-29-2011 10:47 AM

I now click into threads to see if the thread has:

a) Turned into a Matt Cassel bash, OR

b) Turned into a McCluster argument.

It's like the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics. All threads will eventually decay into one of those two states.

Why would you want that scrub Mccluster to get so many carries? Do want to see him fumble the ball or get killed on the field? That worthless midget shouldn't get more than 5 carries a game.

Ok. I like where you're going with this.

For a moment i thought your were going to suggest trading for Adrian Peterson.

Because he's not a real option.

Hootie 08-29-2011 12:29 PM

I know I'm right about McCluster...can't wait to see everyone else jump on board.

coming from the guy who 2 years ago said Carson Palmer would no longer be a starting NFL QB in ... 2 years (no big deal)

lcarus 08-29-2011 12:35 PM

I'm fine with the trio of Charles, Jones, and McCluster. I think it's going to work well for us.

Mccluster will always suck and never live up to his 2nd round draft position. And Id take Carson Palmer to start on the Chiefs right this second.

who lives up to a 2nd round draft selection?

what do you have to do? Start 1 year and have a 5 year career?

people continue to overvalue 2nd-7th round picks on this board...

valuabe? yes

definites? no

do you really want to do this?

for every Brandon Flowers there are 10 shitty 2nd rounders

here is Flowers' draft

Kenny Phillips
Philip Merling
Donnie Avery
Devin Thomas
(Brandon Flowers)
Jordy Nelson
Curtis Lofton
John Carlson
Chilo Rachal

4 before him and 4 after him

some good, some bad...

none outstanding

2nd round picks are so overvalued on this board it's hilarious

Sanka 08-29-2011 12:55 PM

Your a ****in idiot, you should stll be able to find QUALITY starters in the 2nd round, especially the front end of it and especially how deep that draft was. Not a guy like Mcmidget who should only plays 8 snaps a game.

Hootie 08-29-2011 01:18 PM

roger Saffold
Chris Cook
Brian Price
Nate Allen
T.J. Ward
Arrelious Benn
Koa Misi
Torell Troup
Rob Gronkowski
Sergio Kindle
Lamarr houston
Zane Beadles
Linval Joseph
Daryl Washington
Jimmy Clausen
Taylor Mays

...

those are guys taken a few picks prior and a few picks after Dexter...

yep

lottttttttttttts of world beaters

KurtCobain 08-29-2011 01:43 PM

Well if we just would've taken Clausen at five he wouldn't of been there.

i'd take Safford,Nate Allen or Cody over DMC in a heartbeat. Probably Gronkowski and Daryl Washington too.

Troup has apparently put on a lot of weight and gotten stronger, he should be much improve so add him to my >DMC list too.

just off the top of my head without really looking to it.

lcarus 08-29-2011 03:13 PM

I'm reserving judgement on DMC until after this season. He was pretty good early last season. Before he got hurt. To me that's the only real question. Can he stay healthy? Otherwise, I think he has the right tools to be a playmaker for us on offense and special teams.

chiefzilla1501 08-29-2011 04:03 PM

People are too critical of Thomas Jones.

I was supportive of McCluster, but with his new role, it's not looking great. If he's not playing in the slot, it's going to be hard to justify the pick.

Avery isn't shitty. Decent WR, but since he was the first WR taken in the draft and over DeSean Jackson, he will always be considered bad.
