What are you hoping to see in Detroit?

What type of improvement will you be hoping for the most from the Chiefs after that abortion in Week 1? Any specific area you want to see improve...

...or do you want them to play like they did last week and somehow win by 1 having been outgained by 500 yards? :)

KCrockaholic 09-14-2011 12:51 AM

I want improvement from the D-line and to see better play calling all around. Muir, and Crennel. I want to see Charles have 18 carries minimum.

I want to see Bowe and Breaston get involved.

Crush 09-14-2011 12:54 AM

Stanzi as the No. 2 and Palko "accidentally" left behind at the airport.

007 09-14-2011 12:55 AM

2 football teams

MoreLemonPledge 09-14-2011 12:55 AM

If they can hold Megatron under 100 yards and with 1 score or less, it will be a ****ing miracle.

BossChief 09-14-2011 12:58 AM

I want to see Cassel look like a quarterback against a beatable secondary.

Just look like a quarterback for ****s sake.

Thig Lyfe 09-14-2011 12:59 AM

Suh tearing Cassel's head off and shitting down his throat.

MorgenD 09-14-2011 01:01 AM

Everything mentioned thus far, plus:

Eric Berry with Robot Legs, or Cassel holding a clipboard.

BossChief 09-14-2011 01:04 AM

I want to see the team look like they have something to prove and find a way to win the game.

mcaj22 09-14-2011 01:06 AM

Shitty Shititelli being left in the ghetto of Detroit (or anywhere in Detroit for that matter)

before the game, but I'd be okay with suffering until after also

NJChiefsFan 09-14-2011 01:08 AM

Seeing Crennel use his abilities to game-plan and somehow stop their TE's with the two idiots we have would be something.

Seeing them use Charles more, FORCE Matt to stretch the defense and get Bowe and Breaston in the game. Honestly, even with the horror that may come with Cassel throwing deep, we aren't doing anything against good teams when literally every play happens inside of 10 yards.

Seeing the Chiefs compete would be great. After last week, how shitty they must feel, especially losing Berry. Everyone has them out of it already. To see them step up and have some pride would be great to see.

Silock 09-14-2011 01:08 AM

Eminem.

Bob Dole 09-14-2011 01:12 AM

Without reading it all, Bob Dole would like to see something that resembles a professional football team.

It's going to be an interesting play when Suh gets to Cassel. Cassel's brain is going to melt down and just stare at him for 3 seconds as he runs at him for the sack.

Oh, I'd run for his sack.

Red Dawg 09-14-2011 01:27 AM

I love this team and always will but until we get a good QB it's all for nothing. Matt does not have the skills to win in the playoffs or beat good teams no matter how much talent is around him. He folds like a metal chair.

Now, as for the Detrot game I want to see them win. Play with the toughness the coaches preach and WIN! Run the crap out of the ball and throw some passes down the field.

Basicly. GET ANGRY AND USE IT!

Sanka 09-14-2011 01:34 AM

Would like to see that fat scumbag Suh '605' Casshole.

Even if we beat BUF in a fashion like we did Seattle it still would be a tough game. Detriot is getting a ton of love, maybe too much. That being said they have a lot of talent. Would really liked to have seen Berry and Flowers vs. Megatron.

Fritz88 09-14-2011 02:21 AM

Win, convincingly.

Not ganna happen though.

Micjones 09-14-2011 03:09 AM

A vertical passing game, a commitment to the run and aggressive play defensively.

michaelj_58 09-14-2011 03:18 AM

play with more attitude, run to the line of scrimage, play faster, they looked slow last week.and why, oh why didnt they add depth behind our frontliner's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheater5 09-14-2011 03:47 AM

A team that makes the most of its opportunities.

A Detroit turnover in their half of the field should equal points.

Pinning them inside their 15 yard line and forcing a punt.

No Detroit conversions on 3rd and long.

In a nutshell, exploiting their weaknesses and protecting our own...

spanky 52 09-14-2011 03:53 AM

Better tackling by the LB'ers.

McClain involved in more than 3 plays.

No season ending injuries.

jlscorpio 09-14-2011 04:10 AM

Pioli on the phone w/Andrew Luck's soon-to-be-hired agent

A team that looks at least like they know what they are doing. Haven't really seen that in the last 3 games, going back to Oakland last season. Execute plays and move the damn ball. Defensively, get to Stafford early and often.

I seriously don't see Cassel surviving Suh this game. I hope I'm wrong, but last week just makes me think we're totally screwed against that defense.

The return of the big 3 automakers?

Old Dog 09-14-2011 06:39 AM

I would like them to at least play with a little heart. They essentially curled up in the fetal position last week after they got punched in the mouth.

Dragonocho 09-14-2011 06:43 AM

Larry Johnson running into the offensive tackle and falling down. Wait, wrong year, how about Pioli on the pregame show admitting Piscitelli was a bad opening day prank.

Mr_Tomahawk 09-14-2011 06:44 AM

I want to see Suh end Cassel.

A commitment to the running game and ball control to play keep away. Tackling and cutting down blown assignments on D. Win the turnover battle.

Lets keep this going!

Karma has already gotten back to us once this year... Maybe if we continue to be a shit fanbase. We could lose Bowe, Flowers and Charles for the rest of the year...

Karma FTW!

Bwana 09-14-2011 07:58 AM

A Chiefs team that looks like they shouldn't be playing Little Guy Football.

Saulbadguy 09-14-2011 08:00 AM

The Lions have one of the best D-lines in the game today.

Matt Cassel has no pocket presense or field awareness, and feels pressure when there is none.

The Lions are going to actually put pressure on Cassel.

He might leave us longing for Donavan McNabb's 39 yard passing performance against the Chargers.

Wait? a Gunther lead defense?

Not what I have read in the past on CP, We should rape a Gunther lead defense....

Do I have to hold your hand like Marty did with Gunther, and Shwartz is doing with Gunther now?

Gunther was Marty's puppet, and is now Shwartz's.

Make Gunther solely responsible for a defense, and it will fail miserably.

"We Choose their Quarterback"

luv 09-14-2011 08:39 AM

I'll settle for a seeing a little more game in our players. Maybe complete a pass and RUN THE BALL.

wazu 09-14-2011 08:43 AM

In this order.

1. Stanzi comes in the game and leads the team to an improbable victory with a vertical passing attack.
2. If 1 can't happen, then I'll settle for another loss that rests squarely on the shoulders of Matt Cassel and all who allow him to remain as our QB.

Chiefnj2 09-14-2011 08:48 AM

I'm torn between wanting KC to win by 30 proving week 1 to be a complete aberration, and wanting them to lose by 30 to get a clean house and good chance of drafting Luck.

keg in kc 09-14-2011 08:53 AM

I'd like to see the pendulum swing completely the other direction.

I don't think it will. I think their defense line will cut through our o-line like a hot knife through butter, but a guy can dream.

KcFanInGA 09-14-2011 08:55 AM

Suh kills Cassel..Sub-Zero style. Stanzi comes in and throws 3 td's to Bowe and four to Breaston, one to Pope, and Jamaal gets 300 yards. And Muir has a coronary in the booth, Zorn steps in and calls perfect plays. Langford covers Megatron and Scheffler like he mugged his mother. That'll do I think.

Or even worse... have Herm hold his hand.

Then you end up with the most bland and vanilla defense ever seen in the NFL.

"Watch us line up exactly the same on every single play and run the same exact rush and coverage scheme every time!"

Heaven forbid they run a stunt or something... no... just straight 4 man rush with Tampa 2 coverage. Same thing 60 times a game.
