Donks Bringing In Sharper For A Look

Hope he torches Cassel if they sign him. Starting to dislike Pioli...ALOT

Eh, the Zoo has been poor for a while.

CrazyPhuD 09-17-2011 01:54 PM

Yes.....one luck racer already throwing in the towel!

Someone should tell them they'll never win if they quit so easy!

BigMeatballDave 09-17-2011 01:55 PM

Donkey brass > Pioli

MMXcalibur 09-17-2011 01:57 PM

I think I might lose it if Piscatelli is in tomorrow and getting burned.........repeatedly.

Hammock Parties 09-17-2011 02:00 PM

This is classic Pioli. Sitting on his hands, eating cannoli while other teams get better.

No need to panic.

WTF are you talking about? Pioli shuffles the deck a lot throughout the season. Maybe he doesn't bring in the names you want to see, but he's always looking.

Seriously, this fan base shits the bed on a guy who just won Executive of the year last year after we played one bad game. I expect a lot of bad games this year but I like Pioli's approach if he's looking to find developmental players over broke dicks.

Developmental players over broke dicks. That's precisely Pioli's strategy. Exactly it.

Why, when he brought in Mike Vrabel, Mike Brown, Bobby Engram, Zach Thomas, Mark Simoneau, Mike Goff, and Thomas Jones to an extent, he was just looking to develop those guys in the later years of their career. He would never bring them in with the sole purpose of providing leadership and temporary band-aids to a team with struggles at depth at nearly every position. That's not how he works! You know Pioli... ALWAYS looking for developmental players over broke dick veterans. Rarely does he ever bring in broke dicks when the team needs a baseline of mediocrity just to fight and claw their way to 6 or 7 wins

RealSNR 09-17-2011 02:24 PM

On a more serious note, the one time he successfully inserted a broke dick into the team's lineup and it halfway worked? Casey Weigmann. And that experiment is past overdue, and will probably start to smell bad in about 3 or 4 games.

Ace Gunner 09-17-2011 02:24 PM

Shouldn't this thread be in the "dumbass forum" ???

RealSNR 09-17-2011 02:37 PM

Mike Vrabel
Mike Goff
Mike Brown

Christ, Pioli should just stay away from all free agents named Mike

Okie_Apparition 09-17-2011 02:37 PM

He brought in some leadership guys to get the lockerroom straight, etc. and yes, he can fill gaps with some veteran players. However, we're not really in the hunt for the Superbowl so why not try to develop players at this point? They apparently already think the lockerroom is set up well by drafting Baldwin, etc. I'd rather they grab a decent safety rookie off a team's practice squad out there than fill in the spot with a stopgap. Although I'd still be fine with a stopgap guy at RT simply because it's almost impossible to hide that weakness. At least a young safety should be able to play deep zone, etc.

ChiefsCountry 09-17-2011 07:10 PM

You guys do realize that Sharper is a free safety and not a strong safety, which Berry played. If we sign him he would be replacing Lewis and not the White Guys at Berry's spot.

He's still better than our current shitstain so I'm sure he'd play SS anyways. I'd still rather grab a developmental player and get them some game experience so we actually have some depth next year when Berry comes back.

NJChiefsFan 09-17-2011 07:14 PM

Any word on whether Langford will see the field?

Good, I was worried we might take them out. I will sleep better knowing they will still see the field.

Chiefs Pantalones 09-17-2011 07:29 PM

Something is odd with our team this year. Usually we'd be signing these guys up. But for some reason we're standing pat this year. Why is this?

Brian Dawkins is a free safety, too.

I bet those ****ers are just signing him so that it leaves us with no good options and it leaves us ****ed...if they decide not to sign him and we do in a week or two, they will have first hand information about him for when they have to face him when our teams play.

How about 7-0 to start the season at home last year, and then 3 BAD home losses in a row. I mean, bad. This team has looked like the wheels were falling off ever since the Oakland game to end the regular season last year.

If you ask me this team has been mediocre-to-dogshit other than this stretch against shitty teams last year:

Arizona-Seattle-Denver-St.Louis-Tennessee

Look at the other games and it's a bunch of crap.

And there was a turd in the middle of that stretch, too.

This fan base kicked and screamed about KC signing broke dick players at the end of their careers like Mike Brown etc.....

Now we don't sign broke dick players and everyone throws a fit.

Go figure.

Our blue veined throbber just tore his ACL and we replaced him with a platoon of sloppy cooters.

Dave Lane 09-18-2011 10:46 AM

And now we are longing for some gaping maw worn out cooter?

Anything to bridge the gap until the juicy sweetness returns.

Not really. I think he will definately help, but we aren't going to do anything special this year anyway.
