Cowboys Waive Tashard Choice

Hell at this point, I'd drop Jones and bring him in.
It won't happen but I would do it. |
I just saw him at Kolache Factory in Overland Park with a realtor.
|
Jerry World shouldn't be using an instant coffee anywho
|
I doubt that they drop Jones.... but I wouldn't mind seeing him picked up.

Yes please.

I mean at this point, with our Rb situation, wh wouoldn't you bring the guy in. He isn't going to cost much and he just adds more depth at rb.
Time to face facts about Jones and Mccluster. |
YES YES YES YES yesy eysywhdoialndkwadwsa
|
Bring him in fo SHO
|
As much as we need help I'm not a fan...

I'd drop Jones or McCluster for him in a heartbeat. But like you said it won't happen. Jones adds a much needed punch in the locker room and McCluster is a Pioli pick and he won't give up this early on a 2nd rounder. Nevermind the fact that the guy is basically useless 99 plays out of 100.
Worse case scenario he's Thomas Jones - 9 years. |

The ****?!!! As much as he sux, he's a better alternative now. Posted via Mobile Device |
I'd for sure drop Jones.
"he brings attitude to the team" what the **** ever. He serves absolutely no purpose on this team. If they are gonna preach this right 53 bullshit, go get the right 53 and don't keep one of them becaue he is your guy or whatever. |

seriously Thomas Jones isnt going to be here forever
what is the difference of cutting him now versus not re-signing him at the end of the season. None, he's still gone. if they do re-sign him this place will explode. |
Strange move by dallas. They seemed glued to the 3 RB rotation, murray had ONE good game, and felix JUST came back from injury.

Must. Get.

no ....

The next Emmett Smith?

Finally, one of these threads where I would probably pull the trigger and put in a claim.
I doubt we would win a claim for him, though. Until next week, we are still 21st in the pecking order and somebody higher than us will claim him. If not, you sign the guy and kick Old Jones to the curb. |

The theory is that you play Cassel because he gives you the best chance to win. Bullshit. You ain't winning shit with Cassel. You play Stanzi to find out if he offers you any future so that you know just how big the need is to find a QB that you can win with. If you don't already know that Cassel isn't a QB you can win with, then you're a ****ing moron, you ****ing moron. |
I'm partly a Dallas fan so I've followed them quite a bit... Choice has A LOT of potential. I always liked him and he did very well last season when he split carries with Felix while Barber was out. Don't be disappointed by his 2.7 YPA this season, he has mostly received 3rd down carries just to pick up 1 or 2 yards. Would be a nice pick up IMO. Great addition for when Jones retires after this season and Battle is 28 so....
|
6 games 75 yards and 2 fumbles and you think he is better then Jones? Jones is a guy who while I think has jumped the shark, has has multiple 1200 yard seasons and doesn't turn the ball over.
Yea, no thank you to Choice. |
Quote:
POTENTIAL > BROKEDICK That said, as far as we know Jones is the veteran leader in the clubhouse and cutting him may not be good for team chemistry. Although I am sure Baldwin wouldn't mind it! |

I'd take him for the 2nd half of the season....he has break away speed like Charles does. Anything but Thomas Jones.
|
Murray and Felix if both can stay healthy would be a great 1,2 punch in the backfield. I just don't think they can stay healthy for the long haul .
|
Every game I have watched Choice play in, he has coughed up at least 1 fumble.

Too much of a stretch, with the fumbles. Many, many players with greater potential cut because of fumblitous. Rashad Salaam, name em......

My sarcasm is quiet, yet deadly. By all means, with all seriousness, he's worth a shot.

I'm not saying Choice is the 2nd coming of Barry Sanders, but he's a better prospect than either McCluster or Jones.:whip::bang::o):BLVD::moon::bolt: |

I didn't know anyone outside of a few Marylanders drank rye whiskey. I like it but most folks don't even know what it is. |

This is by far my favorite whiskey. It's only available for sale in Iowa and Illinois and they can't keep it on the shelves. Occasionally, you can find a bottle online. If you ever get a chance to try it you won't be disappointed. |

What, isn't Kolby Smith available?

hell yes, drop McCluster for all I care, DMC sucks ****ing dick.

Brian Piccolo is available

He's worth a look with our rb situation, but you guys are on drugs if you think we cut Jones to make room for him. You don't jettison a starter mid-season for a guy that has never seen the playbook, regardless of how bad that starter is.

RT @AdamSchefter The Redskins claimed former Cowboys running back Tashard Choice on waivers. |

Speaking of fumblers

So they claimed a RB that's going on IR?
|
Another prime example of what mccluster can do
