Sickening YouTube video shows girl whipped 20 times by furious father
Poster claims to be daughter of Texas Court-at-Law judge William Adams
Girl's mother joins in horrific attack

This horrific video allegedly shows a family law judge viciously beating his disabled 16-year-old daughter, who suffers from cerebral palsy, after catching her playing computer games.
The man, believed to be Court-at-Law judge William Adams from Aransas County, Texas, is seen repeatedly striking the girl using a leather belt as she whimpers in agony.
After delivering around 10 powerful strikes across her legs and backside, his wife then grabs the belt from him to take over, at which point he walks out only to return moments later with another belt so he can continue the beating.

Sickening: A man said to be a Texas family law judge brutally whips his disabled daughter in a video clip that has caused shock and outrage after being uploaded onto the internet
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/...69_634x452.jpg
Attack: The girl, who suffers from cerebral palsy, yelps in pain as her father beats her repeatedly with the leather belt for playing on her computer
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/...84_634x431.jpg
Threats: The man jabs his finger at the girl while screaming foul abuse as she cowers in fear
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/...50_634x467.jpg
Violent: The mother joined in the attack on the 16-year-old who is believed to suffer from cerebral palsy

As the girl begs him to stop he can be heard snarling: 'Bend over the F***ing bed
'Lay down or I'll spank you in the F***ing face.'
The shocking footage appears to have been filmed on a webcam and is said to date from 2004 but only became public in recent weeks.
It was uploaded onto the Reddit website late last month by a person claiming to be the victim - the judge's daughter Hillary.
The girl is said to have suffered from ataxic cerebral palsy from birth and has a passion for technology. She is believed to have illegally downloaded the video game as well as music.
She writes that she'd decided to post the footage - which she'd been 'holding onto until the right time' - after receiving 'a barrage of harassment' in a phone call from her father.
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/...17_634x476.jpg
Ganging up: The father and mother stand over the girl both brandishing belts. She is believed to have split from him after suffering years of emotional abuse
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/...06_634x436.jpg
Take that: The furious father unleashes a powerful backhander as the sickening attack continues
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/...89_634x490.jpg
Tough: The man's face is revealed in a still from the video. He is said to be a judge William Adams from Aransas County, Texas

The title reads: 'Family law judge beats own daughter for using the internet, please spread'.
The video has incited fury on twitter with dozens posting their disgust.
@Johnny_Ads wrote: oh my god. what a disgusting video. im shocked. poor girl - what repulsive parents. Shame on them.
And @eschaton added: I hope this exposure gets him sent to prison for a good, long time.
In total the girl receives 20 hard lashes from her father and one from her mother.
She screams: You turn over like a 16-year-old and take it like a grown woman.'
As she lies crying on her bed he shouts: 'Do you want to put some more computer games on?
'Are you happy disobeying your parents?
'If I hear so much as you raising your f***ing voice to me or your mother with the wrong tone or do one little thing or you look at me f***ing wrong, I'm going to wear your f***ing a** out with this belt.'

Unknown identity: It is claimed the man in the video is Aransas County court judge William Adams
Although it has not been confirmed that the man shown is Judge Adams, several people have posted comments below the video claiming it is definitely him.
One post from a J. Andre Bardin, who claims to be one of Hillary's friends, reads: 'I know in the article you say you cannot confirm the man in the video is him, but I can. It's him.
'That's his voice, that's his mannerisms, and that is his house.'
The woman, thought to be judge Adam's wife, who is seen in the video delivering a single blow to her daughter, is said to have left the marriage after suffering emotional abuse.
She has apparently apologised for taking part in the beating and allowing it to happen.

Well the good news is he's probably well off and a good portion of that money will go to whoever ends up with custody of his children, not certain it will be his wife.

teedubya 11-02-2011 10:34 AM

2004: Aransas County Court-At-Law Judge William Adams took a belt to his own teenage daughter as punishment for using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time. She has had ataxic cerebral palsy from birth that led her to a passion for technology, which was strictly forbidden by her father's backwards views. The judge's wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge's wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist.

Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can't even exercise fit judgement as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re-elected again. His "judgement" is a giant farce. Signed, Hillary Adams, his daughter.

Saul Good 11-02-2011 10:37 AM

So this is back when people were getting sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars for pirating, and this guy is a judge and would stand to lose his job if his computer was found to be used for pirating? I'd say this was excessive, but a beating may have been in order.

Getting spanked with a belt... and getting beat 25 times is entirely different.

I can tell from your angry, aggressive posts though, that it would probably suck to be your kid.

Personal opinion but when my bare hand isn’t enough to get the desired result the time for spankings is over.

Yeah because it's perfectly acceptable to whip your daughter that has cerebral palsy. :spock:

Trevo_410 11-02-2011 10:46 AM

I honestly every household has set of rules. Some, more strict than others(especially out in the country). When kid's living in their parent's house disobey these rules, they need to be disciplined inorder to keep them in line. This may have been a harsh beating, but the main reason for the aggressiveness and quantity of whips were because she would'nt bend over and take it, which pisses off the mother and father even more because she still wasn't obeying. I've heard a lot harsher stories like this from other relatives and friends, the thing is is that you learn and build character over events like this. Yes there are child punishment laws or whatever but a simple spanking should be kept private. I don't think i can judge rather it was right or wrong thing to do to leak this video however. Seemed like the parents went a little overboard and could've been a bit calmer about it.

I got the belt when I was a kid, too, but only got beaten excessively once, and I never forgot it. If my parents had done anything near what that poor girl suffered in the video, as soon as I turned 17 (because that is when I was a match for my dad), they'd have gotten every bit of it back with interest. I'd have shown them how asses really get kicked.

All that cretin had to do was take the computer away from his daughter. It was not about the computer but about his psychotic control issues.

chasedude 11-02-2011 11:01 AM

My mother used to have serious rage problems growing up. She beat me many, many times with belts, Yard Sticks, Base Boards and anything else she could find in reach. I think it's still ****ed me up today. I'm 38 now and still have flash backs of some of the beatings.

I remember a time where I was forced to take piano lessons at age 7 yet I didn't want to take them. One day I was supposed to be practicing but I didn't want to. I got rapped across the hands and my back with the afore mentioned base board. I found one of my practice books not long ago and saw the marks on it from where the stain from the base board left marks on the book. It put me in tears having to relive that memory.

I'm nearly a foot taller than my mother today and she still has this "power" over me because of the psychological torment I received as a kid. I don't talk about the beatings much because I feel embarrassed over those years. I think this is the first time I've ever written anything about it.

I got the belt, too, as a kid. 3-5 MAX... not 25. That is asinine.

And compound that with the fact that this cretin is a Family Law Judge... just think. This is how the world will view the U.S... a bunch of hillbilly rednecks who beat up the defenseless for stupid shit.

oh wait... we do that all over the world, anyway

This has nothing to do with discipline. This video has everything to do with him being psychotic.

I got the belt growing up. I got switches too, and those god damn things hurt like hell. I even get the fist quite a few times when I was a teen. But I never got anything like this because my dad wasn't a ****ing psychopath.

He's beating his daughter who has cerebral palsy because she downloaded some music.

Again, why can't I ever get 5 minutes alone in a room with these mother ****ers?

Latest Update Judge William Adams Responds To Videotaped Beating
11:34 AM

ROCKPORT - Aransas County Court at Law Judge William Adams has spoken to our Andy Liscano about a video the judge's daughter posted on Youtube showing a beating in 2004.

Judge Adams told us, "It happened years ago.. I apologized."
When asked if he thought the conduct in the video was excessive, Judge Adams said, "It's not as bad as it looks on tape."

Judge Adams also informed us he has already contacted the Judicial Review in Austin and "more will come out" during the investigation.
We'll keep you posted.

LOCOChief 11-02-2011 11:38 AM

What the ****? I got beat with a belt and that doesn't make it right. If I caught my neighbor doing that to their disabled kid I would **** them up beyond recognition. Who knows, that person evidently could be a CPer, but that wouldn't exclude them from the carnage

He says it is not as bad as it looks on tape? Give me a break! Listen to what he says to her! It's hate filled! He grabs her neck and pushes her down and tells her how terrible she is, and that might even be worse than the belt. He abused her body and spirit there. Not as bad as it looks...

Making your child feel like you hate him or her, that is what stays with the child. The sting of a belt goes away. Feeling like you are hated is a wound to the psyche and it leaves scars.

Phobia 11-02-2011 11:44 AM

Yeah, it's the psychological crap that still torments me today. My mother's emotions manifest themselves in some strange ways that I still restrain myself from being open around her.

My father was my safe haven though. I remember a couple of times him coming in during the beatings and trying to deflect her rage to himself. He say things like "the boys had enough", but this would enrage her further.

I still love her, she's my mother and has supported me when I needed her there. Yet, that pain of childhood under her thumb still eats away at me today.

wow! you and I must have lead very similar childhoods. dad didn't know about most of it or I doubt they'd still be together. I have no more pain over it though. I've let it go. I read once that forgiveness is supernatural because we can't do it on our own. interesting premise huh? anyways, I made damn sure I didn't raise my kids that way. both of my children tested their limits and both of them got a swat here and there....but eventually both had their own individual instances where they got a pretty good firm hard hand spanking....and that was it....never needed one again. they learned that no is no. pretty smart lil boogers! and pretty awesome young adults if I do say so myself...and I do.

Can someone video me putting this mother ****er in the clinch and kneeing his ****ing torso in?

Afterwards I will make a statement that it's "not as bad as it looks on tape."

Hope the guy enjoyed the career he had... because it's gone, gone, gone now.

I can't imagine doing that to anyone let alone your own flesh and blood. can you imagine all the things he did that weren't caught on film!!! makes you think. wonder if she ever considered.....taking care of the problem while he slept? bet she did.

I used to think I had a bad childhood. My dad was an abusive drunk pissed at the world cause he had polio when he was a kid and got a bad leg from the treatment. Because of that he wasn’t into sports and “never played catch with me”. :sob:
Then I was talking to Lost His Mind on Meth buddy, before he gave up his sanity for a chemical, and he was telling me a story about Toughest Sumbitch I Know. See he and Toughest Sumbitch grew up together. Lost His Mind was always a smaller guy, got picked on a bit in school and Toughest Sumbitch kind of took him under his wing. So one day after Junior High they were at Toughest Sumbitch’s place playing Atari when Toughest’s dad came home to find a down slip in the mail. He started in on Toughest, closed fist, then after he wore himself out with that he started in on him again for bleeding on his carpet.
After hearing that my dad getting stinking drunk and cussing at me didn’t seem so bad.

I'm trying to imagine being a lawyer in his (family) courtroom and trying to restrain myself if I were defending a parent in a custody matter. Be hard not to blurt out (and be found in contempt for saying), "but what my client did wasn't half as bad as what YOU did to your DISABLED daughter, your HONOR!"

As it should be. Like Frazod said earlier, you know he’s broken up families over less abuse than he distributes in that video.

I don't know why I still have a problem letting it go. I'm glad you have, I'm sure you are a happier person now and your children benefit from it. I think that's why I've avoided marriage and children because I can't let it go. I know... I know... I'm only hurting myself.

My dad gave me a thump once in awhile, completed deserved, but nothing like my mother gave me. I hope one day I find forgiveness for her I really need to get this monkey off my back.

That's ****ed up, man. Have you talked to a professional about this? What happened in your past should not be preventing you from living your life the way you want to. If it is, then there's a problem that needs to be talked about.

Nope, I've never talked to a pro about this. As a matter of fact this thread is the only time I think I've brought it up in years. Seeing that video hit too close to home and I guess that's why I decided to say something. I've always felt so embarrassed admitting a 4'11" 150lb munchkin can have such a mental control over a 6' 280lb guy. My own personal hell I suppose.

After watching the video all I can think is that Rick Perry had a hand in this some how.

That phrase is overused and certainly not appropriate in this instance.

I was spanked a few times (my parents were seriously old-school), but nothing this bad. My parents certainly never did it was a hint of anger. This guy appears to be using it as some sort of aggression therapy. Sickening.

And you base that assumption on what? Enduring and surviving an abusive parent definitely toughens one up. I do have some experience in this regard.

It's not like I'm defending the guy. But there are worse things that can happen to a kid that getting cussed and hit with a belt. Get over yourself.

Having a woman with a knife in your avatar, isn't helping, probably... :p
