Call it: Will tonight's game be a shutout?

The title says it all.

Old Dog 11-21-2011 10:37 AM

NO. I'm pretty sure New England will score.

Predarat 11-21-2011 10:38 AM

No the Chiefs will get two FGs.

Sofa King 11-21-2011 10:38 AM

Nope. We're efficient at field goals.

suds79 11-21-2011 10:38 AM

No. We're bad but the Pat's D isn't exactly the 2000 Ravens out there.

Palko will make enough plays with his mobility to get us some points.

We still get stomped though.

Rausch 11-21-2011 10:41 AM

KC will score but I don't expect this to be pretty...

DJ's left nut 11-21-2011 10:41 AM

Curbstomp? Yes.

Shutout? No.

The hell of it all is that the Patriots can absolutely be gouged through the air if you're willing to risk it. Alas, Muir and Haley wouldn't have attacked with Cassel, let alone Palko.

No, we'll run Battle at the lone strength of their defense 30+ times and hope we can stay within 3 scores.

Watching the rest of the league Sunday reminds me of just how awful this team is. Its like they're playing a different sport.

Reerun_KC 11-21-2011 10:44 AM

We will get some garbage time points from flaco or Stanzi.

CP will declare a franchise QB starting tonight based on garbage time points and prevent defense.

Mr_Tomahawk 11-21-2011 10:44 AM

No....it isn't the Patriot way.

THIS.

Haley has less ability to adapt than a penguin in Persia...

Deberg_1990 11-21-2011 10:46 AM

The Patriots will be sitting Brady and playing Mallet by the 3rdQ.

lcarus 11-21-2011 10:52 AM

We lose 31-3.

I'd say 31-10.

I think we get a garbage TD...

Gonzo 11-21-2011 10:55 AM

Pats 42
Chiefs 17

RealSNR 11-21-2011 10:56 AM

No. The Chiefs have "pride" and will put up a field goal or two

InChiefsHeaven 11-21-2011 10:58 AM

35-10 Pats. We'll get those 10 points in the first half, then shit the bed horribly in the second half.

Hammock Parties 11-21-2011 11:01 AM

Hell no.

NE's D is horrible and our receivers are a bad matchup for them.

Amnorix 11-21-2011 11:02 AM

Just so everyone knows, our pathetic defense becomes quite good in the red zone. So you may well see your team flying between the 20s only to stall out in the red zone.

Shutout? You clearly haven't seen the Patriots defense much this year. If last week's Jets game is a true turning-of-the-corner into a non-suck defense, I'll be the most happy, and most surprised, Pats fan out there...

I seriously doubt that's how it goes down...

Okie_Apparition 11-21-2011 11:51 AM

I can't imagine being the backup QB on the sideline & watching the game review film. Seeing all the missed opportunities that Cassel had & not thinking. If only I got my shot...

MahiMike 11-21-2011 11:54 AM

32nd ranked defense. Chiefs will score.

Rain Man 11-21-2011 12:15 PM

It's going to be difficult to shut the Patriots out, but with Brady having a hurt arm I think it's the way to bet given the poll options here.

Well he'll have his shot tonight. There will be holes in that Patriots secondary. There will be open receivers downfield that Cassel typically misses.

You'd think we could beat a QB who's been listed as questionable for 5 years...

Chiefnj2 11-21-2011 12:22 PM

I think its a nightmare matchup for KC. NE excels at using its TE's and Welker in the middle. KC struggles pressuring the QB and covering TE's with safeties and LBs. Plus I read Carr and Flowers are nursing injuries.

whoman69 11-21-2011 01:03 PM

There is zero chance the Chiefs shut out the Pats. The Pats D doesn't remind you of their championship teams. We will score on them.

ChiefsrGood 11-21-2011 01:10 PM

Tyler Palko pulls a Tim Tebow

6/17 119 yards 1 TD 1 PICK

76 rushing yards 2 TDS

Chiefs win. Palko is the face of ESPN all week.

HemiEd 11-21-2011 01:11 PM

Hopefully, the Chiefs Defense that played in Oakland will rise again soon. Chiefs will cover.

Bearcat 11-21-2011 01:41 PM

27th ranked O vs 32nd ranked D

This image comes to mind... the stiff breeze vs the outdoor furniture...

bevischief 11-21-2011 01:43 PM

Hopefully it isn't a one sided game.

Doubtful outcome. But Palko will play above his talent level for one game and then get crushed by the Steeler's D next week. When I say crushed...I mean that uncle b-rich's presence as the RT has increased Palko's life insurance premiums for this month.

Extra Point 11-21-2011 04:35 PM

Choice four was too funny to pass up.

Chiefs will score at least 10. Maybe, by the end of the season.

really makes me wish we had a QB
this is not gonna be pretty

but we need crazy Tood go on fourth, onside kick to open the game
blitz everybody
and please use extra corners instead of our "safeties"

Boss Hog 11-21-2011 05:31 PM

Kansas City wins 31-27

vailpass 11-21-2011 05:31 PM

Not really. I think the last time we beat a playoff team on the road was Green Bay in 2003.

Exactly, the O line plays their ass off tonight.... seems they were tired of Cassel too !!

Are you lending us Tebow or something and I missed it?

evenfall 11-22-2011 10:53 AM

Well, almost had it.
