Why doesn't anyone blame Scott Pioli

You true fans are an embarrassment to all us non-kansans

BryanBusby 11-21-2011 10:54 PM

**** this entire franchise.

suds79 11-21-2011 10:54 PM

Lots of people blame Scott Pioli.

Problem is that Clark most likely will give him another coaching hire to get it right.

I don't agree with that but that's just how it is. Sucks for us.

Okie_Apparition 11-21-2011 10:55 PM

Three rings make up a circus
As I recall

the Talking Can 11-21-2011 10:55 PM

pioli is an idiot and a failure

Okie_Apparition 11-21-2011 10:57 PM

Hay
Ari-douche
How about those rings

chagrin 11-21-2011 10:59 PM

I don't know man, I still see Coach Haly as a failure, he cannot motivate players. He should be in a booth calling plays for another team somewhere. It would be nice to have a Coach that can lead, take responsibility instead of pointing fingers and command the respect of his players. I just have not seen any of those characteristics in Todd Haley.

dirk digler 11-21-2011 11:02 PM

It seems to me people keep looking past the obvious. Sure you can blame Pioli, haley, cassel but really all the hate needs to be pointed in 1 direction and that is the Hunt family.

They are cheap ass family that only care about making money more than they do about fielding a consistent winner and trying to win championships.

jd1020 11-21-2011 11:04 PM

I cant blame the person not writing the checks for being 30mil under the cap...

Pioli has brought in talent. Cassel turned out to be a bad idea. Time to move one.

memyselfI 11-21-2011 11:06 PM

I blame him for not having much depth and if he gives Failey another year I'll blame him for being insane.

Epic Fail 007 11-21-2011 11:09 PM

I do blame Scott, completely ignored improving the O line since he got here.

Are you serious? The only reason we're competing with this piece of shit team is motivation. The team obviously plays hard for him and they obviously respect him.

In 3 years, he has been asked to win games with a backup QB.

notorious 11-21-2011 11:18 PM

How in the **** did this team win 10 games last year?

We are getting our ass kicked by good and horrible teams.

... You must be blind to the talent he has signed/drafted. Funny how you only show up after the Chiefs get blasted.

ClamChowdah 11-21-2011 11:21 PM

The Patriot way is Bill Belichick, all these people from the Patriot tree think they can just clone people into being like him it doesn't work like that, if you're a douche whos got 5 rings nobody can say anything if they don't agree with you, if you're Todd Haley well you're just Todd Haley, same with Josh McDaniels ect ect.

Scott Pioli was no guru, he was just another voice in Bill Belichicks ear, if you think Scott Pioli was drafting players without input from Belichick then well you're crazy, he was just one of few people BB listened to, it obviously helped having suggestions from Pioli but without BB a huge part of the puzzle is missing.

I'm not going to drink the kool aid at all. I don't see how a Bill Muir designed offense is going to accomplish shit, or how a lame duck coach will be able to hire any decent offensive coordinator at all.

The offense looked bad before Moeaki and Charles went down, so I don't see how anything will change when they get back.

Haha the offense looked so bad that they won the division and cassel was a pro bowl qb and many people considered Haley coach of the year. Sure dude, just go root for the packers already.

Some of you are so off and on. We draft Baldwin, Hudson, and Houston in the top 3 rounds and Pioli is God. We pull McClain, Gaither, Siler, and Breaston in FA and more praise for Pioli. We have season ending injuries to our two most important players and Pioli is a **** and is a shitty GM.

It takes more than 3 years to build a franchise... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Yes Cassel was a mistake, but he was the best deal out there for a QB and we needed one desperately

He's got to be willing to admit that this offseason for him to be absolved, if not then that's a major problem and and an unforgivable personality flaw.

Oh I agree Pioli should be kicked in the balls for Cassel.

But sitting on 30 million when Eric Berry goes down and Donald Washington and Pieceohshitty is your backups. Ya Clark can suck on some nuts.

If he doesn't draft a QB this time then he is a total idiot. And he better solve the right tackle problem this offseason too. While your at it can you bring in a productive offensive coordinator? People are not going to pay to watch this crap much longer.

Not his responsibility.

Urc Burry 11-22-2011 12:28 AM

If we keep Bowe and Moeaki stays healthy, within the next 3 years we could very well have the best receiving corp in the league. If we are still a run first team I'm done

I'd consider dangling Bowe as trade bait. He could net some nice draft picks and we really wouldn't lose much with Baldwin sitting there. Breaston could stay in the #2.

You are blaming Pioli because he didn't spend Hunts money, ****ing idiot.

If Hunt says there's nothing left, then there's nothing ****ing left.

KCinNY 11-22-2011 12:43 AM

In the 42 season following the AFL/NFL merger the Chiefs have won exactly THREE playoff games. What's been the constant throughout this period??? The Motherfu%#ing Hunt family!

Think about that number for a minute....three playoff wins in 42 years. Two of them were the result of Joe Montana 4th quarter comebacks and the other one was a 10-6 snoozfest against the Raiders(led by a QB making his 2nd career start) which the Raiders would have won had they not turned it over 6 times.

The Panthers and Jags have only been around since '95 and they have more playoff wins than the Chiefs who had a 25 year head start. The Steelers have twice as many Super Bowl wins than the Chiefs have playoff wins.

The Hunt family wants to be known as league pioneers...notice Clark was visibly front and center during the CBA negotiations...then proceeds to have a shoestring budget payroll while gouging fans with $8 beers and $25 parking. Lamar(the sacred, untouchable cow of KC sports who nobody ever dared criticize) seemed happy to have the AFC champ's trophy named after him, but never really seemed interested in winning one. Christ...he hired his college roommate to run the team for nearly two decades.

Hunt Family: Winning owners expect results from employees. They don't accept mediocrity. And teams that do this win playoff games and, believe it or not, still manage to make a buck or two.

I wish they would move to L.A. or something so I could cut the emotional cord with this organization once and for all. I used to hope they would sell the team, but sadly I now believe that will never happen.

Hunt Family = perpetual mediocrity on the field. But hey...the bottom line looks good.

Well don't forget one of the First things Clark did was to threaten to move the team to Wyndotte County and ditch Arrowhead. He got the Jackson County tax payers to cough up millions.

Unfortunately we are stuck with that greedy little #%%$%$%%%.

I'll tell you what I'm sick of ... I'm sick of the platitudes and the buzz phrases that are designed solely to placate a fanbase that the Hunts are trying to milk for every dime of their disposable income.

If Pioli and Haley and Crennel and Muir had any balls, they'd come out and apologize to the fans for screwing up the last three years of our lives. They'd call a press conference, go on live television, admit their mistakes, beg for forgiveness, and then kill themselves.

FloridaMan88 11-22-2011 01:59 AM

Tonight could be a tipping point for Clark and Pioli.

They weren't able to hide this mess in a Sunday afternoon game that few people saw. This was on national TV, in the stadium of a franchise both men want to measure up to.

Tonight's fiasco probably had an extra level of personal humiliation for both Clark and Pioli.

:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

This is the best post I have seen in a while-great summation of how I have felt all along about the Hunt's while being a lifelong fan from the East Coast, outside the fishbowl of the Kansas City region.

There are (4) types of owners:
1. Those who want to win at any cost
2. Those who want to win but would like to make money
3. Those who want to make money and would like to win
4. Those who want to make money at all cost

The Hunt family is firmly rooted in #4
