What TYPE of head coach do you want?
Without naming names... which TYPE of head coach would you like to see take over in KC?
OK I was slow to get the POLL up (har har, make your jokes at that one) You have 5 basic choices.... Former NFL head coach out of football (Gruden, Cowher, Fisher) Former head coach still in football (Crennel, etc) Up and coming NFL coach (Chudzinski, Winston Moss, etc) College coach (Stoops, etc) The Almighty Gaz |
One not from The Tree.
|
A coach with prior head coaching experience and someone not from the Parcells/Belicheck coaching tree. Someone who will challenge Pioli.
Fisher as HC + Norv Turner as OC. |
Fancy dresser.
Appreciates me. Always makes me cum first. |

only requirement i have is he must know how to win,
tired of losing. |
Offensive...from the offense side of the ball
|
I'd like to see a NEW coach.. yes I know Haley was one of those... but let's be honest.. the guy was an asshole. He may be a wonderful sweet human in real life, but as a coach, he was an asshole. So, back to what I want... in a perfect world, we would have hired Jim Harbaugh... but I'd be fine with a Stoops or a Chudzinsky or Winston Moss.

You guys should get Brian Billick.
|
Dick Vermeil - he had the offense down pat, in Goodell's Flag Football League we'll make a Super Bowl run every year. No one will allowed to play defense in 3 years anyway.

My preferred order would be:
Up and coming NFL non-head coach (someone who might be the next great one and just needs a chance - gotta roll the dice to win big) College coach (hopefully a diamond not yet discovered, same as above) NFL head coach out of league (a chance that he went out on his own terms) NFL head coach in league (took a demotion, can't be that good) |

An up and comer is a pipe dream at this point.
Clark will not do it. He saw enough with Haley. |

You guys should get Steve Mariucci.

I fear that the only criteria that will be considered from this point forward is someone who will serve as Pioli's lapdog and follow the Patriot Way (whatever that is) without deviation or discussion.
Is there anybody like that out there? FAX |
One that insists on drafting and developing a QB.

There may be hope for him yet...LMAO |

a HC that recognizes that you need a QB...a legit QB to win a championship. So much so, that he's willing to hitch his wagon to that QB and sink or swim with him.
a coach that realizes that at the end of the day, the only goal should be winning a super bowl. a coach that develops a teams' identity and cultivates an unshakeable confidence in the players. |

Someone who has not been a HC and not from the tree.
|
I like Les Miles a lot.
|
This is a young man's game.
Enough with coaches pushing 60. |

Mooch took over the 9ers when the 'previous regime's' team was collapsing. He made them a winner again and they've sucked ever since he left. I actually wanted to hire Mooch in 2001 rather than DV. He was my pick. His failure in Detroit was easy to explain. Joey Harrington sucks, and he had no option to get a better QB. He's not my pick for HC, but he sure didn't gravy train much existing talent. |
