Clark Hunt "high-fiving" Chiefs in the Tunnel after the Game?

Heard on the radio today, that after the game in the Tunnel, Clark was there high-fiving everyone as they came in from the victory.

That gives me a warm-fuzzy.

Also, as the players were coming in, they were chanting, RAC! RAC! RAC!

I find that interesting... anyone else hear this?

Dayze 12-19-2011 01:46 PM

was he on a step-stool while administering high fives?

ToxSocks 12-19-2011 01:46 PM

The players also gave Crennel a gaiterade bath. On a hunch don't think they would have done the same for Haley.

Reerun_KC 12-19-2011 01:52 PM

Nothing warm and fuzzy about that...

He just realized that he doesnt have to go out and get a franchise QB and that he doesnt have to go get a new coach...

He can stay status quo, rape and pillage the fanbase for money and all is well in 9-7 land...

I would high five them also if I was him... He just bent the fans over for another 4-6 years...

Dexter Manley 12-19-2011 01:55 PM

If that is all Clark means by being a "hands on" owner, I'm all for it...

They've been told they only need to kneel when they approach Pioli's office.

For all the criticism that Haley has gotten for acting "childish", what does this footage HONESTLY say about Pioli? I'm sorry, but him hugging these guys like that just reeks of "fake".

On a side note, Cassel hugging Romeo was classic - the look on his face at the end is priceless.

You tell me, your head has been up it for so long, no one else can get an opportunity...

1 game doesnt define a season or career... Lets see how we do against Oakland and if we can stop the run in Denver...

Knee Jerking off to one game isnt much of a sample, considering his other HC experience...

LMAO... I'm glad you're sticking with it.... bravo.

No, one game certainly doesn't define a career. But one game can be really effective at showing the glaring differences a capable QB and coach can mean to a team. We did lots of the same things we've been doing all year, except Romeo had them fully motivated and prepared to play, and they rewarded him with the biggest upset of the NFL season. Romeo brought in an injured QB who had been with the team for a week, and accomplished more than Haley had done with any other QB on the team. Face it, the defense has been a dominating force lately. And it just so happens that when RAC takes over as head coach, the offense sees instant dramatic improvement because of his decisions as well.

But keep dogging his ancient past..

It's nothing new, I've seen footage of the owner and GM in the locker room congratulating guys after wins on MNF and such. But the timing of this video is convenient. If it wasn't the Packers, and against a lowly team, and this video was posted, then I would put more behind it.

Here's another for comparison: after the win against the Browns last year:

I think starting a first round qb as a rookie is overrated. Drafting one and developing them are critical. But there is a ton they can and learn on the bench.

There is no substitute for game experience. But I disagree that you have to struggle through 3 years of learning curves because you think a young qb needs to learn on the job.
