BRC is in Springfield. Needs to find a place to watch the game. Help a brother out!

Visiting Mom. Her tv sucks. Can't watch a raiders vs. Chiefs game on such a crappy tv.

Invite me to your man cave, what bars are good to watch the game? Ideas. Suggestions?

boogblaster 12-23-2011 12:08 AM

is there bars in springfield ......

SPchief 12-23-2011 12:09 AM

Bdubs was a decent atmosphere for a chiefs game 6 years ago, don't know what it is now. I'm out of the Springfield loop now. Just go to a bar and I'm sure someone from the planet will show up.

SAUTO 12-23-2011 01:42 AM

I live an hour and fifteen north. Come the **** on Iwill hook u up with a good spot to watch the game with a fan.

Mama Hip Rockets 12-23-2011 02:09 AM

Springfield Brewing Co. is pretty good. They have good food and lots of TVs. Usually a pretty decent crowd of Chiefs fans there, but I don't know about on Christmas Eve.

007 12-23-2011 02:11 AM

Something tells me Luv and Papasmurf would help you out.

Hammock Parties 12-23-2011 02:12 AM

If I was in Springfield I'd invite you to my grandma's house. At least they have a 32" HDTV.

SAUTO 12-23-2011 02:18 AM

Dude I'm telling u we coulf have a great time.lol

Don't trust anybody who uses "u" rather than typing "you". It's going to end in surprise buttsex.

Appreciate the offer but there is no way I'm going to be able to convince the wife to drive that far and back to watch the game. She just finishing driving 2000 miles yesterday.

philfree 12-23-2011 08:08 AM

We have family doings on Christmas Eve or I'd say come on over. There's lot's of places to watch the game though depending on what you like. Buffalo Wild Wings, Big Whiskeys, Coyotes, WF Cody's, The Clarion used to have a sports bar. I've probably left out several other palces too. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a place to watch the game.

stevieray 12-23-2011 08:21 AM

in KC, there is this place where a whole bunch of people watch the game, perhaps you've heard about it.

Couldn't convince the wife to go to KC. We have family stuff right after the game and before the game. When I saw the date I thought great I'll get to see a game at arrowhead again but alas........:deevee:

MTG#10 12-23-2011 08:39 AM

It sounds like you were drunk when you posted this at 2:18 AM. "Coulf" is the dead giveaway.

And if you want a better TV, Amazon is selling 40" for less than $300 bucks.

ChiefsOne 12-23-2011 08:49 AM

Big Whiskey's South on Republic Road is my fav.

Demonpenz 12-23-2011 11:26 AM

There is a place Mohillbilly and Luv were at when I was down there it was a great place to watch the game.

NewChief 12-23-2011 11:33 AM

Head over to MoHill's. Just look for the compound with concertina wire and pitbulls.

Try the Skybox Sports Bar, 1271 E Montclair. A block south & 1/2 block east of Battlefield & National. :kc: fans out there!!!

BigRedChief 12-23-2011 02:24 PM

I guess that I HAVE to watch the game at the mother in laws. :(

teedubya 12-23-2011 04:17 PM

You need to nut up, BRC. heh

luv 12-23-2011 04:48 PM

Quincy Magoos. A lot of people go there, they have good food (even though their prices have gone up lately), and they'll have the sound on the game. If you know where the BWW is at on E. Battlefield, it's in the same shopping center, right in the middle.

Fox & Hound is usually good, too. Or you could just go ahead and go to BWW. Can you tell I'm a south-sider?

Thought of this, too. I've just never been there during a game to be able to recommend it for that.

This is the perfect time to give your mom a special gift.

One month rental of a new TV.

I think they'll even apply that months rental fee towards the eventual overpriced purchase!

Win-Win

Well, he was asking for places to watch the game in Springfield. I thought I'd see where he was going to be, and I'd head up there. If he's not in town, then I'm just confused.

bevischief 12-23-2011 07:39 PM

Have to wait for him to post again.

bevischief 12-23-2011 07:42 PM

I know I am watching the game unless it snows... Already talked to the Gm. Can't believe how many Bronco's fans up here.

Bob Dole will wave as he drives past tomorrow.

You know, you should have posted something sooner and they could have put together one of those famous Springfield get togethers.

It got up to 84 Christmas Eve.

It's supposed to get up to 50 degree here today. For a place that has had snow and ice (no, not frost on the windshield), I'm perfectly happy with that.
