actually never met many fans of KC i didn't like - outside of Phobia, Pestilence, Bevischief, RockyMtnChief, nzoner, Dartgod, Grand 'L' or umm, Luv or clay or Mr. Flopnuts, or FDE, err GoBowe, lzen or even that OTWP, CrazyCoffey, TinyEvel, Mr Plow, never liked Buck, or that stupid blue hat, Guru, Sedated -PostRockGonzo, never really liked Papa Smurf or Bob Dole nor Monty, didn't even like Siberian Khatru, wasn't wild about DCS/RoR, Bearcat either.
In fact Motha **** most of you. kidding, duh. |
I've never knowingly met another Chiefs fan in my entire life. Once in a while I see someone with an old jersey or jacket on but I'm pretty sure all of 'em got their stuff from the Goodwill store.

[QUOTE=rad;8231576]My job would be near/in Pineville, so I'm looking in a semi-circle encompassing Gastonia to Monroe. Waxhaw looks rural enough for me.
Do not move anywhere near Gastonia. It's a shit house. Even the locals dog it. |

If you are going to be working in Pineville, I suggest you get a place south of Charlotte Douglass and stay close to 485... that road is fairly new and multiple lanes...

85 South is crap until you get to the 38 mile marker which is I77 be aware that people will cross 4 lanes and cut you off there at anytime of the day... 77 is bad from about I-40 thru Lake Norman to Charlotte One drop of rain and you should expect a wreck somewhere and a backup |

I'm not sure why anyone would want to live in Concord or Kannapolis....while Kannapolis is trying to revive itself after the close of Cannon Mills by putting a Tech Center there, I would never want to live there. Cute place to visit with the Village there, but not somewhere I would want to live.
Concord is a crazy place to live because of two things......Lowes Motor Speedway and Concord Mills Mall. If you live in Concord (kinda depending on where in Concord) you can forget being able to get anywhere or eat anywhere during race weeks or around Christmas. I don't know who suggested that you live south of Charlotte, but that makes the most sense. If you live in SC there are some taxes that you don't have to worry about in NC-Charlotte area. When I lived in Charlotte I tried to find a sports bar or group that watched the Chiefs....was never one in the area, but there were a couple in the Raleigh area. |

But I have lived in the NC area that you are talking about, and I know enough having traveled that area extensively that there ARE more trailers in NC than in KC. |
