OC other than McDaniels?

On the chance that he hangs around in St. Louis, who else would you want to take over as Offensive Coordinator for this team next year?

Hammock Parties 01-03-2012 11:11 AM

Trent Green.

Also, I don't know much about him but what about Joe Lombardi? He's been an Offensive Assistant with the Saints for 5 years and QB Coach for the past 3. Young, too.

I love the helmet condoms he makes his players wear. That would be a nice addition to our team.

ILChief 01-03-2012 12:35 PM

Lombardi, Clements, or Norv

FringeNC 01-03-2012 12:36 PM

I'd be okay with McDaniels if we cut ties with Cassel.

Rex Ryan was talking about him in his post game presser, like he was the next Vince Lombardi. Saying he deserved to be a HC, etc.

Maybe so he wouldn't have to fire him?

Bring back Marty as HC and Brian as OC. Maybe find a position for Jimmy Raye somewhere in there. :Lin:

(This is sure to get me hamstrung by Sidewinder) :)

ROFL

Don't forget about brother Kurt. Got to find a place for him too.

Whatever happened to Al Saunders? We did have the best offense in football when he was here. Is he still coaching? Still alive? I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

Technically he was OC of the Redskins before he took over as coach.

FloridaMan88 01-03-2012 06:04 PM

Rob Chudzinski, who should be the Chiefs top choice to be HC (especially with Fisher practically out of the picture).

The next best thing would be to have Chudzinski as OC/Assistant Head Coach.

Now there's three suggestions I like. In order of my preference:

1- Clements

2- lombardi

3- Zorn

1 or 2 may end up being our HC after Romeo retires. That's why they get higher preference from me.

Oh, he's more qualified than Trent. I just don't see everyone's infatuation with Zorn.

BryanBusby 01-03-2012 09:14 PM

Brian Daboll

He was the one behind the Browns productivity on offense a year ago and did a pretty good job getting production out of a Reggie Bush+Matt Moore+lazy Brandon Marshall Dolphins offense that was banged up on the OLine all year long.

I honestly don't understand why he has the reputation for being an offensive guru.

Sexy stats doesn't mean you fielded a good offense.
