jthom1Jim Thoma
Goodbye Josh from the Stl. Pats move fast on McDaniels. Rams signed permission form only 1 hour ago. Kansas City yet to request permission. Mods please merge this to the josh mcdaniels thread please |
Oh noes.
|
Move fast, New England!
|
I don't think anyone knows what the **** is going on.
|
Bet this makes Pioli salivate.
"If pappa Bill thinks Josh is that good I must be doing something right". |
Can New England make that move? Their season isn't over yet.
|
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

He can't join them until after their season is over. |

If McD was here only ONLY as a OC I'd be for the move, but I don't think that's the case. So I'm hoping NE gets him.

AlbertBreerAlbert Breer If Pats get permission to talk to McDaniels, then hire him, no rule would stop them from putting him on staff for playoffs, per the league. |

Why doesn't anyone want him as the OC? Just because he has Patriot ties? Or because of what he did as a HC?
|
This can be a positive for us Chiefs fans.
Maybe McD didn't wanna come here because of Cassel. Win for us against Piolis ego Pioli wasn't allowed to talk to him becasue Hunt said no. Win for us that Hunt is actually caring. |

Anyways, Bradford is now going to end up like Alex Smith. FML. |

People gush over the productivity of the Broncos' offense. What I saw was a guy who was obsessive about winning games in the air behind a QB who wasn't franchise QB worthy. Their running game for much of the 2010 season featured a 50 yard rusher as their lead rusher, and nobody to blame but him--he's the guy who traded away Peyton Hillis. I have a feeling he's just a bad version of Mike Martz. |
McD has been shit everywhere accept in NE.
They have a guy that makes OC look pretty good. |

I don't want McDouche mainly for the reason that means without doubt we get more Cassel. |

Obviously we have seen that the Pats way is pretty ****ed up and scammy in that it revolves around getting one of the best and most clutch qbs to ever play the game. |

Then I remember how good Daunte Culpepper looked when he had Randy Moss to throw to. It's a pretty nice system when your entire offense is built around: 1) throw it anywhere within a mile of Randy Moss; 2) if he's not open, Wes Welker is going to open on your checkdown. It's a QB's wet dream. Even wetter than Culpepper had. |

I'm excited that maybe we will just let Crennel select his own staff.
|
This also seems like a Clark power play too, hmm

One thing to add here on Josh McDaniels: I'm told the Chiefs have NOT yet asked for permission from the Rams to talk to him. ... |

Does this mean that when Brady goes down...Mallet shines and we trade and over-pay for him....? :p
|
So who was it that was saying that we had asked permission? I thought it was Breer?

Hopefully this is all on Clark saying no.
And not only can't you have McD, you gotta dump Cassel too. |

Well....we know where Brandon Lloyd is going next season.
|
I would love to have RGIII or Luck. Whichiever one isn't drafted first, I'd be in touch with the Rams about that second pick.

SI.com's Peter King reports the Rams have informed OC Josh McDaniels that he's free to sign with another team. The Patriots and Chiefs have already requested permission to interview McDaniels, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The Patriots have reportedly been preparing for OC Bill O'Brien's departure since his name first started surfacing in Penn State rumors weeks ago. McDaniels would be a logical successor, perhaps bringing free agent Brandon Lloyd along as a deep threat. Source: Peter King on Twitter Jan 6 - 11:33 AM |
