Haley/Sparano "Joining Forces"
LMAO
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports former Chiefs HC Todd Haley and former Dolphins HC Tony Sparano have discussed "joining forces" as offensive coordinators in 2012. According to Schefter, Sparano would coach the running game while Haley manned the passing game. The arrangement makes sense in theory, but doesn't seem terribly likely to come to fruition unless both men are willing to work for less than they'd otherwise make. Profootballtalk.com believes the Jets are one team that would at least consider such an arrangement. The Arizona Republic reported Friday Haley is in talks to return to Arizona, where he served as offensive coordinator from 2007-08. |

Haley goes to the Jets and makes Sanchez a superstar. That would be the Chiefs luck.

Are you done mourning the Jets not making the playoffs yet? |
Hey, I'm half a coach....and you're half a coach...maybe....together.....

But...I thought Haley couldn't work with others?

Besides in that situation he wouldn't be the boss and there would be no choice. |
Haley just called a timeout.

In other news, Greg Robinson has joined with Vince Lombardi to do the same thing. |

Sparano is a pretty damn good OL Coach.

We go together like bungled 2 minute drills and toss sweeps on 4th and short.

Heh, and our passing attack was clearly a strong point during his tenure.
|
So, two out of work coaches are marketing themselves as a package deal so that a team can pay two salaries for an OC instead of one?
Yeah, that makes sense. |

So Haley might return to Arizona to work with Matt Cassel II?

You got your Haley in my Sparano!
No... You got your Sparano in my Haley! Wait a minute here. Mmmmm that's one mediocre combination! Posted via Mobile Device |
I'm sure Haley will throw the challenge flag, and lose.
