I figured I'd take guff by taking Lovitz over Belushi. But yes, Lovitz over Ferrell. A person can't help but laugh just looking at Lovitz.

I'm hoping Hartman wins the whole thing, but have a feeling it's going to be Murphy.

Must say I'm surprised by the poor showing of Bill Murray who had the most votes in the last round.

This is brutal.

Pained me to pick Hartman over Crystal.

Belushi just doesnt stand the test of time (IMO). I've gone back and watched the first few seasons - and they're not nearly as funny as people seem to remember them being.

Short and Ferrel are both in several of the top skits of all-time (male synchronized swimming, cowbell, patriotic 9/11 thong, 60-minutes lawyer, etc.)

Tough to leave Phil Hartman off the list.

I find the Belushi, Murray and Akroyd stuff just as funny now as I did then. Probably depends a lot on the age of the voter. I watch SNL now and am usually left wondering if it's just not funny or if I just don't get it.

I guess my idea of humor is just different. I think Will Ferrell is a moron. He isn't the least bit funny in my book. I voted Eddie Murphy, Jon Lovitz, John Belushi, and Bill Murray. Those guys are SNL legends. Ferrel doesn't come close to their talent

Looks like Murphy has a big lead so far. The last position is being highly contested. Right now 4 votes separate 2nd and 5th place. That's the difference between being in and scratching to get back in the winback round.

Same. Hartman carried that show for the entire 90's though.

Belushi is completely overrated.
