Sheffter "Phins chances are dwindling"
Sorry to start another Manning thread, but this had to be seen. Besides, eat it!:D
Cites Harbaugh and Fishers decision, so messy FO (Something is wrong in So FL) and also says that all the media chasing him around rattled him and it showed him what it might be like to play in a large market. He straight up said those chances are "dwindling" Im thinking its the FO thats a turn off. |

Could be an ego thing in the FO. I get the feeling Ross turns a lot of people off.

Come to Kansas City! Our reporters don't do shit!

Why in the **** did I allow myself to start becoming emotionally invested in this?

Plus the fact that he knows it won't be easy to beat the Patriots and Jets twice a year. He doesn't want to go to the playoffs as a wild card. Good weather isn't everything. As I've said before, Manning didn't get to his elite status by being stupid, he knows that the Chiefs will be his ticket back to the Superbowl! Too many Debbie Downers on here that will always look at the glass as being half empty!

Not surprised at all. Patience people. I really don't think Manning is against being in the AFC East, but Miami has screwed up everything it's touched lately. Their fans are going to turn against Ross eventually. He lost Harbaugh and Fisher, if he loses Manning he's going to look completely inept.

It's gotta be either Denver or Kansas City at this point.
Wowwwww............... |
The more I think about this, the more I realize I need to stop thinking about this because it's driving me crazy.
The Dolphins are a circus. So are the Redskins and the Jets. The Seahawks have a Rah-rah coach. The Broncos would have a popularity controversy with Tebow/Manning. In my opinion, going west makes the most sense. Easiest ticket to the playoffs, doesn't have to face his brother. Other than Fitzgerald, the Chiefs have a better overall cast than the Cardinals. |

We can dramatically overpay whatever Denver offers.
Not that that will influence Peyton's thinking. |

I agree with last night's posts that the team/teams "in the weeds" are Balt/AZ IMHO.

Good O-line. Great D. I think their lack of weapons hurts them though. I also think Peyton getting in the middle of the Tebow craze doesn't help their chances. KC is same thing but with better weapons. |

RT @ggarcia3: What about Houston Texans? Slim, right? ... Not happening in Houston. Sorry. |
I truly think it's either Denver or Kansas City.
Honestly, Pioli has manuvered the **** out of Elway for the past year and a half. It's not stopping now. That and we can sign anybody and everybody Peyton wants. We can draft offensive tackle #11 overall, giving Peyton two first rounders bookending. It's literally a perfect fit. |
That must be quite the clown show down there.
|
How do Kansas City's chiropractors line up against Denver's?

You know, over the past week or so I've read all the moronic Manning threads on here and I've been a pessimist. I refuse to allow myself to believe for a ****ing second that KC will pull this off.
However, the media is starting to sway me. They are reporting every hour or two in our favor. My nuts are starting to tingle and I'm beginning to feel movement in my pants. I swear, if this happens I will have to go to the doc for priapism. |
I want to see Elway's face when Peyton declares for KC.

I don't really care though, I've been excited from the get go because I have felt all along it was a possibility. Add to that Elway vs. Pioli and you know this is one instance where his ego could swing in our favor. |

Denver would be just as big of a circus as Miami would with Tebow being there.

Everybody knows their place and is a replaceable cog in the machine. Except Tom Brady. |
Can you imagine if Peyton chose Denver, who then cut Tebow, who was then in turn picked up by Pioli?
:( |
not sure if old news. it is 11 hours old. just read it when Knowmo linked VicLombari tweet.
"OK. I can't speak for KC. I can only tell you know what I know. They're making a serious push here." |
