Do you think Justin Babin could have had a chance of being as good as Jason Babin?

Damnit!

I knew I was wrong, just too lazy to google it.

bevischief 03-12-2012 05:08 PM

At least it is not Manning... I agree bye...

BryanBusby 03-12-2012 05:08 PM

Not surprising. The Chiefs would be dumb as hell to not let him test the waters in a over-saturated market.

Thig Lyfe 03-12-2012 05:10 PM

Maybe we could sign and convert Peyton Manning to replace him.

Shhhh!!!! You'll summon Babin boy.

Micjones 03-12-2012 05:32 PM

Hard to take much away from that.
That could be about some relationship he's been involved with.

Titty Meat 03-12-2012 05:33 PM

Mario Williams could slide into his spot on 3rd downs. Just sayin'

Damn. I don't know whether to laugh or cry, though I do admit I'm laughing my ass off because I feel your pain and can relate, but if you're jumping ship, I know it's time to find more than just the life preserver.

Shit, we've already hit the iceberg and the 5th compartment is filling, as we speak.

FA better bring some quality players or it's going to be a long season.

notorious 03-12-2012 07:04 PM

Clearing space for Peyton Manning.

aturnis 03-12-2012 08:29 PM

Duh. Who didn't see this happening? They drafted his replacement last year in Allen Bailey, and Bailey proved to them that he was worth the pick and gets you similar production at a fraction of the cost.

Seriously. People act like every obscure tweet from an NFL player has something to do with the NFL. People tweet all the time about random shit in their lives.

Good point. When I read it, I hear that perhaps Gilberry is a key leader of the Syrian ruling regime.

So now we are gomna grieve and criticize every move or non move for every role player the Chiefs have? This isn't like we are losing Derrick Thomas here. Gilberry is basically just another guy.

This is starting to take a huge toll on the long time fans. Its like you keep hoping year after year after year, that hey maybe they will do something special int he play offs, it hasnt happened. Ithasnt happened in the 70's,80's, 90's, 2000's, and now we are in the 2010's. Its rough.

Fans are just sad their franchise sux! I mean, how can you not be upset, sad, feel down on something people put so much into. Hell, most of us jus twant a play off win, not even asking for a SuperBowl. haha

ok, i have no idea what you're referring to but ill take the rep.

cdcox 03-12-2012 11:06 PM

If he is gone it's not a huge issue. His pass rushing production was way off in 2011.

The funniest part is he hasn't even left yet or given any indication that he is doing so. He just tweeted about some chick and people flipped out. ROFL

Chiefs=Champions 03-13-2012 07:26 AM

Gilberry was terrible last year, and a roll player at best the year before. Country strong >>>> gilberry.

I have no problem letting roll players walk, its the likes of Bowe and Carr who we should spend our money on. Key word there is should...

Your slipping, there wasn't one mention of how great Cassel is in your posts.

That's what I was thinking. I'm not really sure why his original tweet would make anyone assume it was Chiefs-related
