Hillis, the free agent Browns running back, will pay a visit to the Chiefs, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Although he was one of the NFL’s biggest disappointments in 2011, Hillis has shown flashes of talent, especially in 2010 when he had 270 carries for 1,177 yards, added 61 catches for 477 yards, and scored 13 touchdowns. The Chiefs could have themselves a good running attack if they could pair a healthy Hillis with a healthy Jamaal Charles in their backfield.

He's pretty salty. He probably has a chip on his shoulder and could give us the power back, we've been needing to compliment Charles. I think he's got some good years left in the tank.

I'd like this signing. When he's healthy, this guy is a bruiser. He and Daboll worked great together.

Not me. BGE just being from New England is three damn big strikes against hiim. Hillis, Bush, Tolbert. Tolbert, Bush, Hillis. In any order I prefer one of those three.

Peyton Hillis is as close to a lock in Kansas City as it gets, especially with Brian Daboll (his former OC in Cleveland) as the OC.

They are keeping Cassel at starter. They're going to try and surround him with enough players to convince us it's a good idea.

If we can find a way to get HILLIS, SOLIAI and WINSTON all signed, it would totally open up the draft.

Hills is gonna be somewhat cheap, so he will be a good fit.

I doubt the other two are signed.

I think this would be a really poor selection. Too much talk about whether or not he'll stick at tackle. If that's the case, just cut the bullshit and take the elite guard. I know, I know...

I could also see us going CB, if our new dirty Rutt could transition to safety. In fact, CB would present the most overall value in our slot, though we'd have to take a chance on a player with some character concerns.

Or you could move Routt to safety, sit tight in the draft round 1 take BPA and take Kirkpatrick in the second round. From what i've seen and heard he sounds somewhat like Carr.

Why? He's no complement to Charles. We've been looking for that big back to come in on 3rd and 1 for 5 years now. Hillis or Tolbert is desperately needed on this team!
