You could arm tackle Dante and Dante never did have the toughness to play the slot. Too fragile. Don't get me wrong I liked Dante but he was too one dimensional.

This was a really annoying highlight video, way to replay pretty average plays over and over. This kid looks exactly like the two returners that we already spent 2 second round picks on a couple years ago. A backup safety is a much bigger need at the moment, if I have to watch Slappy again this year I am going to be pissed.

I get that, but the backup S position is something we've ignored for years and I'd like to see it addressed. I know everyone is down on DMC, but he kicked ass the last few games after Haley left and the O-coordinator started using him correctly (screens).

You want your best players on the field on third down. Not guys who can't make people miss.

Much better WR's on the board at this point than Wylie. He lacks production and has a history of injury. Projected 6-7th round.

I like this guy.

Natural speed and return ability. Arenas had nice return ability, but not the natural speed that this guy has.

I haven't heard any of the talking heads say Wylie's a reach or a bad pick. Most seem to like it.

The highest rated WR on the board at the time according to two "experts". Anything to get rid of Jeremy Horne. If I never see him suit up again it will be a great life.

Now if we can not use ACME quarterback Wylie maybe able to catch the roadrunner.

Its pretty much a guarantee he won't help at WR. Tough to get excited about a 4th round kick/punt returner that couldn't stay healthy doing it at the collegiate level but they are asking him to do it on the NFL level?

I'm not being "obtuse". DMC's gonna get about 25% of Charles' carries.
He didn't carry the ball more than 225 times at full health, and he's not gonna do it with a newly repaired ACL.

DMC is not gonna get 25 percent of anything with Charles and Hillis both healthy

there is not enough footballs in the entire state of Missouri for all 3 to touch it. And this place will riot if that shitty McCluster is coming in on 1st and 2nd downs getting awful delay draw handoffs while Charles or Hills stand healthy on the sideline. There is no guarantee that Bowe is going to sign his franchise or renegotiate a new contract here either. We all want to believe he is going to, but reality says he may not.

I expect McCluster to touch it about 3 times a game. That's what RB3 do.

Not a name that was on my radar, but after reading up on him, a guy with some speed is not a bad thing when the rest of the guys on the roster are named Copper, Horne, Markshausen and Newsome. He sounds like he'll have immediate impact on special teams, and provide something a bit different from Bowe, Baldwin or Breaston in the rare multiple receiver set. The injuries are a concern but it sounds like he's surprisingly polished across the board as a receiver (scary fast, decent hands, good route runner).

Sounds to me like a guy who would have gone two rounds earlier without the injury question.

Baldwin and Breaston on the outside. Wylie in the slot. Bowe gets moved for a high draft pick in next years draft... which is in turn flipped for our new starting QB. Stranger things have happened in the NFL.

Do you know anything about Daboll's offense? Wylie seems like he would be good on crossing patterns and slants. He has a wicked looking cut.

He's had some hamstring problems, though it sounds like he was healthy last season. It might be something that NFL trainers can take care of.

Either way, the reality is that Bowe/Breaston/Baldwin/Wylie/Charles/Hillis/McCluster will not all be healthy for all 16 games this season.
