We could have had Pittsburgh's draft
They had one pick in every round way after KC and got:
DeCastro, OG Mike Adams , OT Sean Spence, OLB Alameda Ta'amu, DT I like that list better. |
YOU CANT TAKE A GAURD THAT HIGH
|
TWO OFFENSIVE LINEMEN IN THE FRIST TWO ROUNDS
|
and thats why Pittsburgh is competitive every year
|
Poe loves men... Therefor... We got our next Shaun Smith.
|
Serious question, how different is Alameda Ta'amu than Powe
Last year people wanted to take Powe in the 2nd rounder just like this guy. |
Pittsburgh killed this draft.

I don't like their 2nd and 3rd round picks.
|
I prefer ours
|
DeCastro shall lead them to the promised land.

Drafting back ups in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds makes a ton of sense!

A guard in the fiirst half of the first round is stupid. |
There is nothing wrong with our draft. All teams need depth and having beef in the trnches is a must for any team to win. We are getting the depth we lack. We do need another safety and RB for sure.

Unless you don't think Poe would have slid to where DeCastro did. But he would have. Whatever, we'll see who drafted better on Monday Night Football, when Poe goes against DeCastro and Ta'Amu goes against Jeff Allen. |
I'm shocked that DeCastro lasted so far into the first. Clearly he was the top talent in the draft, and at a game changing position. Indy picked the wrong Cardinal.

A Guard is a ridiculous reach. 1) the best Guards always go at the bottom of the second; 2) very good Guards can be had in the 2nd and 3rd round. It's possible the Chiefs found a solid starter without having to burn a #11 pick; 3) Guards are the easiest position to find in free agency. |

Guard is not an impact position, and I am not wasting a high first round pick on a ****ing non differene making position. Go **** yourself. |

Herm Edwards is a complete embarrassment. I can't stand the guy, and I still almost feel sorry for how big of a fool he makes of himself on ESPN. Does anyone else have a hard time watching him? Maybe it's just me.

All the steelers picks are rape charge prone.

A nose tackle that works out is between us and a top flight defense. Obviously they believe the comparisons between Poe and Ngata. Either way, it's not some left field pick.
Our offensive line was pathetic last year. This offseason we have added two new starters and now look like our line will be very good. When you are behind the eight ball at QB, there is no reason not to improve the line. And out depth was horrendous last year. I don't see major issues with our draft. I never thought people would bash their heads against the wall over not spending a high pick on a guard. I think people just love to bitch |

Explain why the Chiefs couldn't have looked to trade down and still be in a position to draft DeCastro. If they couldn't find a trade partner, I'd still rather have as close to a sure fire thing in the draft (as DeCastro is) than the next Junior Siavii. |

Really the only player of that list I have any interest in is Sean Spence.
Why would I want DeCastro at 11? Mike Adams at all? Ta'amu as a two-gap 3-4? It may work for the Steel, but it's not what the Chiefs want. |

But since he almost fell all the way out of the first round, now you get to say "we should have traded down!" Optimum bitching potential |

The Chiefs have drafted just fine. We have all our starters in place for the most part. This draft was all about a NT and depth. It's as simple as that. There is no one really on our starting 22 that we were going to bench for anyone we drafted save 1 or 2 spots...maybe.

OH MY GOD IT SPINS

How did DeCastro "almost fall all the way out of the first round" if he was drafted in the first round by Pittsburgh? Explain that one dumbshit. |

I would say Big Ben has been the beneficiary of a very, very solid team.... |

Good teams who draft well don't reach for crappy players simply to fill a need. The Chiefs did exactly that. The only way Poe is going to be an effective NFL starter is if every game of his career is played at the NFL Combine. |

Milkman may be a complete knob gobbler but you are an insult to knob gobblers the world over. You guys deserve each other. Perhaps get a motel room and share the knob gobbling experience and learn and grow from him and become a more sensitive, experienced knob gobbler. You can learn from him. Best of luck to you in your knob gobbling endeavors. Alfred Mower |

Thanks for the newsflash. Wonder if Larry Brown remembers that? |
Pittsburgh's draft is an abortion as well. I wouldn't have wanted that.
This thing is rivaling 2009 in terms of awful shit. At least we didn't get stuck with Matt Cassel this year |

I like how a lot of fans know whether or not guys can play before they even step on the field. Amazing.
