Aaron Henry could be a good backup S/special teams guy IMO.


I am kind of intrigued by Burfict as an UDFA. You would have nothing invested in him and the first sign of something, just cut him outright.

I would want nothing to do with that cancer. He never listened to his coaches, why would he start now?

Burfict does have some problems, but is the type of player that, by physical gifts alone, fits perfectly into our defense.


But I don't think there is any chance he comes to KC.

He has a degenerative knee.

Watch us sign Kellen Moore.

Guy I am really pushing hard for is Johnson. I don't want Hillis to be on the field too much as a blocking back since we are relying on him to carry some of the load in getting carries, which I don't believe we do effectively from the FB spot. Johnson could also be used in heavy packages with Hillis on short yardage.

I think Polk was off everyone's boards because they used him up and threw him out at Washington. The way RBs are used in the NFL right now, they usually done within 4 years anyway.

We really need some safety depth and I would like to see some suggestions for TE.

Mecca, what are your thoughts on Burfict?

From what Romeo said earlier, sounds like they are satisfied with the level of competition at QB.

I don't think we really need a TE as much. Maybe a developmental guy that is a converted WR or something.


If we need a TE this year it's a big blocking guy for heavy packages.

I think most want a TE because no one wants to see O'Connell again.

I don't think we really need much at TE. We signed Boss and have Moeaki back hopefully who can stay healthy.

We didn't throw him out. He went to the committee and they advised him he'd go in the 2-3 round. So he declared.

Most will tell you he sucked, but like all safeties, he was usually making up for others' mistakes when chasing down guys. He's a decent tackler.

So a possible special teamer type player?

86 tackles? Most likely a camp body.

I would really like to see Leonard Johnson out of ISU... Being a Hawk fan I found it hard for Vandenburg getting anything through to his side of the field... He played great against OK STATE too...
Vontaze I would be happy to give him a chance but one sign of him being trouble... Throw him out.
Brewster would be a great depth move. Solid center.
Marquis Maze, I would go out and get him. Didn't really get to shine this year because of injury most of the year but he played great his Junior year.

Donta Paige Moss would be a good rushbacker IMO.

Galippo has the size but he's been hurt a lot and lost his starting job to an underclassman..not sure what he'd bring honestly.

Checking Polk out, even Sark (his college coach) is saying he knew nothing of injury reports, and is shocked as **** he went undrafted. Reports they forced him out and into the draft is completely untrue. I hope he tears shit up in Philly.
